AOA #31409087 | DOB: 9/10/2010 (14 yrs)
Sire: Robert the Bruce
31409087<--ari-->Medium Brown<--color-->
Dam: Lochmaddie
31409087<--ari-->Beige<--color-->Lochmaddie is a nice production female. She has given birth to 5 lovely crias and has proven herself to be a great mom. Although Maddie is light in color, the crias she has produced have mostly been darker in color.
Maddie has been a such a great production female for us that she's worked herself out of a job here! We now have 3 of her lovely daughters in our breeding program - Winsome Willow (producer of exceptional crias!), Laurel (delivered her first cria in Aug 2014) and Daphne (delivered her first cria in June 2014). We are thrilled to have all of these quality girls in our herd! But in the interest of maintaining some genetic diversity in our herd, we offer Maddie for sale or trade. We would like to see Maddie produce beautiful crias for you!
If you are looking for a nice foundation female, take a look at Maddie - she fits the bill!

We have recently changed Daphne's status to non-breeder. Daphne has birthed 2 crias, both lovely males, and while Daphne is a attentive and nurturing mom with plenty of milk, both crias were quite slow to start - requiring lots of intervention to keep the cria nourished the first few days.
Daphne is a lovely girl. Dark fawn in color, and like her 2 sisters, she has fine, bright fiber with a nice handle. She displays correct conformation and has a pleasant disposition.
Daphne delivered her first cria on June 4, 2014 - a lovely fading fawn male. She delivered quickly and without assistance and has far exceeded our expectations in regard to mothering instincts and *abundant* milk supply. She is proving to be a very attentive and patient mom while still being accepting of handling her baby for routine health monitoring.
Her second cria was delivered July 2017, but sadly, did not survive.
We do not intend to breed Daphne again due to the extra work involved in getting her crias started and because we have an abundance of her genetics in our herd. We think she would make a great companion animal and does still produce fiber with a very nice hand.
