The word for Debutant is stunning! She has correct straight conformation, with plenty of bone, and a gorgeous head. She's definitely a head turner! She attracts attention wherever she goes. Her fleece shows great density with loads of character, good staple length, and great overall coverage. She has placed first, under Wade Gease, at The Indiana Alpaca Assoc.'s 2010 Heartland Classic and also first at the 2010 Alpacafest, in Springfield, Ohio. This flashy young girl placed second at this year's Nationals with the judge commenting that it was a very close, tough decision between first and second. On 10/14/13 Debutant delivered a gorgeous solid brown female cria who is the spittin image of her sire 7X Champion Hobby Horses Guns N Roses. He is one of the best sons of 6X Champion CPeruvian Winchester and he is also winner of multiple Best Bred and Owned classes. Our dreams have come true! This girl has become quite a show stopper, just like her mom and dad. Her name is: Thatll Do Guns n Roses Duff. On 5/24/15 Debutant delivered an absolutely gorgeous black and white female cria sired by our premier herdsire MFI Peruvian Allblack. Allblack is the 2011 AOBA National Fleece Show Reserve Champion. So far Allblack has been producing predominantly showy dark colored female offspring. On 6/12/16 Debutant once again delivered a stunning, flashy brown & white multi female So it was no surprise that the combination of these two fantastic fleeces would produce quite a nice flashy show crias. Their names are Allblacks Thatll Do Gypsy Rose Lee and Allblack's Thatll Do Jambalaya. Watch for them in the show ring, you can't miss them! After seeing the very crimpy, super dense fleeces on these little ones, there is no doubt that we would breed Debutant back to Allblack for a 2017 cria.

Appaloosa - Possibly homozygous. June 7, 2019... National Doughnut Day... go figure... this handsome classic appaloosa boy... Dunkin' was born. At 359 days gestation, Dunkin' weighed in at 19.5 pounds. From the very beginning, it was very clear that Dunkin's fleece was something out of the ordinary. Aside from the spots, which we had bred for, Dunkin's fleece was ultra-fine and ultra-bright. He was cria-shorn on 7/14/19 and his fleece has come in nicely. Dunkin's fleece will be ideal handspun... raw. A spinner's dream! Not one for the mill. A little about Dunkin's dam... Krispy Kream carries the impressive quality bloodlines of her grandsires SA Peruvian Black Epic and PPPeruvian Grand Master. This quality breeding shows through in her proud carriage, beautiful conformation, super straight topline, upright elegant neck carriage and perfectly straight legs with good strong bone. She also has amazing coverage. At 12 years of age, she is still going strong and an invaluable foundational contributor to the Rare Gem program. Krispy Kream has fiber and stats to be proud of. At age eleven and half (2019), she was 22 micron and EPDs in the top 5% in 3 categories (AFD, SD, SF) and top 1% (fibers >30)... 331 of the 47,399 female alpacas tested in 2019. Krispy carries the appaloosa gene from the Black Epic line. She proved this genetic propensity when bred to Charles P. Atlas, a non-appaloosa gene carrier and they produced the wildly spotted appaloosa Dottie Biscotti (2011). So, while Dunkin's sire is an appaloosa, he could very well be homozygous for the appaloosa gene as both his parents carry it. And a little about Dunkin's sire... Rare Gem XXXteme Spots. Spots is a new comer to the appaloosa alpaca scene. Spots' appaloosa gene comes from NGG Lional-- a known appaloosa carrier that has been well-proven in Canada but is rather rare in the United States. In the past... in the United States... the appy program has been focused on achieving the spots which required certain genetic combinations, but unfortunately... not always best known for outstanding fleece qualities. What is so special about Spots from an appaloosa breeder program perspective is that he carries elite-fleeced heavy hitter lines in his pedigree such as Legacy, El Nino, and XXXtreme (out of Hemingway) ALONG WITH the expressed appy gene! Spots sports a fleece you would expect from such a stellar pedigree. He is dense and fine and FULL of crimp! Lasting fineness is in the genes, Dunkin's paternal grandfather-- Sai-Hoji, was 21 micron at 11 years of age.

Fantastic Producer!

Description

First show - Level 5 MAPACA 2014 and Duff places 4th out of 15. Judge Sharon Loner called her a 'fancy little show girl' and she was the youngest in the class! Then on to the OABA AlpacaFest, where Duff took a second, in a crazy competitive class. We go to very few shows which is a shame when you have an animal like this. She could of done so much more. On 7/11/16 Duff delivered a gorgeous dk fawn male cria 'Fig Newton' sired by our premier elite herdsire My Peruvian Frontrunner. Frontrunner needs no introduction, he has sired many champion high selling offspring. This young son of Duff/ Frontrunner has a phenomenal fleece as can be seen in the photo at right. I think we have another fancy little show boy! And Yes we do! See Fig Newton's details on his page. He's a winner! This is the reason Duff is so valuable - her combination with Frontrunner. Her son Fig is now our successful elite herdsire. On 6/26/18 Duff delivered another absolutely gorgeous light brown male cria, of course sired by Frontrunner. This boy has an amazing super, super dense fleece! It's times like this that you are glad the cria is a male. There was no doubt we would be rebreeding Duff to Frontrunner for a 2020 cria. On Sept. 16, 2020, she had another phenomenal cria! A beautiful beige male. He has that nice compact, correct frame that she throws, with a lovely so soft and fine fleece. Can't wait to get this little fella in the show ring! Sadly, we lost our premier herdsire Frontrunner at age 16. Unfortunately he passed before Duff could get bred back to him, so sad since seemed they're cross was magic. On Aug. 3, 2024, Duff delivered a gorgeous Appaloosa male cria, sired by the Appaloosa, Rare Gem Dunkin. The fleece on this big spotty is already looking nice, very soft with lovely crimpy character. Live For 60 Days Cria Guarantee, we want you to have a wonderful, healthy cria as much as you do.
