OUTSTANDING YOUNG HERDSIRE! HE is full Peruvian and also FULL ACCOYO. He has Caligula and Auzengate on his sire's side and Augusto and Royal Fawn on his Dam's side. His Granddam sold at the Futurity Auction in 2005 for $43,000. Breedings started Fall 2006 with 4 confirmed pregnacies in 2 months! Jules fleece is very fine and extremely crimpy. We took him to a large farm (over 150 alpacas) for shearing in the summer of 2005 and the ladies cleaning and skirting the fleeces said it was one of the nicest they had seen. They told us it was show quality in every aspect. Jules has a great disposition and outstanding confirmation. Jules has recovered from a dog attack that happened in October 2005 and is really doing great. We bred him Fall 2006 to one of our original foundation herd females, Elisa. King Triton is his first offspring at our farm. Take a look at his pictures. We have two offspring from him in 2007 and 5 for 2008. All of them have extreme amounts of crimp and really look great. Jules definitely is one of our top breeding males at Black Forest Alpacas with his Accoyo/Peruvian heritage and great crias on the ground. This big girl was born at 9:00 PM in a cold rain shower but luckily I went out after normal chores to check on the herd. Otherwise, she probably wouldn't have made it through the night. Her bloodlines are very strong with Chieftain from Alpacas of America and El Moustachio and Hemingway in her background. She looks awesome and is extremely healthy, with very fine fleece. She is the largest cria ever born on our farm at a gigantic 24lbs 7ozs. She weighed 40lbs at three weeks & 55 lbs at 50 days. At 7 months, she weighted 101 lbs!!! She is one big female like her dam and sire. Her mom weighed 180 lbs after the birth and she is not overweight. She is beautiful carmel (dark fawn) color. We decided to price her at a very reasonable value for that breeder that likes large frame females. We never entered her in a halter show because it just never worked out and then we bred her and she got pregnant on the first try. We recently entered her cria fleece in the TxOLAN Fleece Show (2008) and she won 2nd Place. Her 1/2 sister (Blackforest's Belle) from 2007 has won 2nd at the A-OK Blastoff and 2nd at TxOLAN (2008) and recently sold at the National Alpaca Sweepstakes Auction. Check out Sweet Teas fleece histogram (19.3/3.4/17.6/1.3) and then check out her 6-yr old dam. Her dam's fineness for a very dark female is still less then 22 microns, outstanding CV of 19.1, and CF of 96.3% at that age (21.5/4.1/19.1/3.7). We bred Sweet Teas back to Reykjavik, our herdsire out of Dom Lucilio. He has always produced color and all of his offspring we entered in shows have placed high in the ribbons. We think this combination will produce an extremely nice cria!! SWEET TEAS delivered an exceptional light brown male which we think will do well in the show ring. Buy SWEET TEAS today, bred, and we will make you an awesome deal on her 2008 male cria--GREAT PACKAGE AT A GREAT PRICE!!
