Neala is a very nice big female (180lbs) with big brown eyes and extremely soft maroon fleece! She stands tall and proud and is an outstanding mother to her crias. She delivered a black male cria in April 2005 and she delivered a "big" dark fawn female named Sweet Teas (24lbs 7oz.) on 30 Apr 06. Sweet Teas just delivered an extremely handsome light brown male for her first cria and is just a super mother, just like her mother, Neala. She has been a great mom to her 2007 female cria out of Reykjavik, Blackforest's Belle. She is one of the best looking crias we have produced at Black Forest Alpacas. Belle sold at the National Alpaca Sweepstakes auction in May 2008. Neala's offspring (Blackforest's Belle) won TWO 2nd Place finishes at A-OK Blastoff 2008 and TxOLAN 2008. Blackforest's Sweet Teas (cria from 2006) also won a 2nd in the fleece show and Belle won a very competitive 2nd place out of about 9 dark fawn juvenile females @ TxOLAN. Neala is protective of her crias and produces lots of milk to keep them healthy. She was bred back to Diamond's Crown Jules, who has Augusto, Auzengate, Caligula, and Royal Fawn bloodlines and is Full Accoyo. She delivered a big white male that has superb crimp in his fiber. Her histogram from last year is an unbelievable 21 microns at 6 years of age and 3 crias later!! Another outstanding foundation female for sale!! Neala's price is really very reasonable when taking into account the outstanding quality of crias that she has produced. We are not all that anxious to sell her. We bred Neala back to Reykjavik, hoping to do a repeat of their 2007 cria, Belle. Call us today on Neala and come look at her male cria, Blackforest's Denali from 2009. You won't hardly belief the crimp and fleece on this guy. In 2010, she produced a beautiful female we named Sierra. She was bred to Blackforest's Red Beard for 2011, and produced Vibrato, who we sold as a cria. We liked this pairing and repeated the breeding for a 2015 cria.

Blackforest's Mount Rainier

Mount Rainier is proof of the phenomenal outcome of two of our very best breeding pair. MFI Peruvian Snowdrop produced some extremely high quality females and males over the years and Mount Rainier is no exception. Silver Rose Rainier, his sire, sheared 13 lbs of premium fleece in 2008 and is a blue ribbon winning male with Yupanqui and Felix bloodlines. Mt Rainier has outstanding fiber architecture and correct conformation. His fine, dense fiber and outstanding brightness demonstrates the quality of our breeding program. He is a multi Color Champion! At the 2014 Great Western Alpaca Show, Mt Rainier won The Spirit of the Fiber Industry Award. This award is presented to a mature alpaca who is maintaining all the positive fleece characteristics. Mt Rainier maxed out points on fineness at 7 years old! Judge Cheryl Gehly’s comment on the score card, “This is such a joy!! Simply fantastic all around!” If you are looking for retained fiber, excellent brightness and consistent crimp, check out Mount Rainier today!

Description

This big girl was born at 9:00 PM in a cold rain shower but luckily I went out after normal chores to check on the herd. Otherwise, she probably wouldn't have made it through the night. Her bloodlines are very strong with Chieftain from Alpacas of America and El Moustachio and Hemingway in her background. She looks awesome and is extremely healthy, with very fine fleece. She is the largest cria ever born on our farm at a gigantic 24lbs 7ozs. She weighed 40lbs at three weeks & 55 lbs at 50 days. At 7 months, she weighted 101 lbs!!! She is one big female like her dam and sire. Her mom weighed 180 lbs after the birth and she is not overweight. She is beautiful carmel (dark fawn) color. We decided to price her at a very reasonable value for that breeder that likes large frame females. We never entered her in a halter show because it just never worked out and then we bred her and she got pregnant on the first try. We recently entered her cria fleece in the TxOLAN Fleece Show (2008) and she won 2nd Place. Her 1/2 sister (Blackforest's Belle) from 2007 has won 2nd at the A-OK Blastoff and 2nd at TxOLAN (2008) and recently sold at the National Alpaca Sweepstakes Auction. Check out Sweet Teas fleece histogram (19.3/3.4/17.6/1.3) and then check out her 6-yr old dam. Her dam's fineness for a very dark female is still less then 22 microns, outstanding CV of 19.1, and CF of 96.3% at that age (21.5/4.1/19.1/3.7). We bred Sweet Teas back to Reykjavik, our herdsire out of Dom Lucilio. He has always produced color and all of his offspring we entered in shows have placed high in the ribbons. We think this combination will produce an extremely nice cria!! SWEET TEAS delivered an exceptional light brown male which we think will do well in the show ring. Buy SWEET TEAS today, bred, and we will make you an awesome deal on her 2008 male cria--GREAT PACKAGE AT A GREAT PRICE!!
