What's unique about his color is that he is a NON-FADING black. We haven't seen to many non-fading blacks. He has luster and softness. Curls frame his face and full coverage with curls on his legs. He has excellent conformation — square and compact. Five of Java’s offsprings are true black, one dark rose gray and white, and two dark fawns, making that 5 females and 3 males. Minuette is one of our foundation females. Her cria's are spectacular, exhibiting awesome fiber with tons of crimp. Her births were unassisted and always had plenty of milk for her crias. Minuette’s great grandsire on the dam’s side is Peruvian Drambuie G220. Drambuie was the foundation herdsire for Snowmass Alpacas (sire of Snowmass Nova's dam). He acquired a collection of blue and champion ribbons and in the show circuit Drambuie became a National Champion. Very few outside breedings were offered and now Drambuie resides in Australia. Her sire, MFI Peruvian Black Mesquite, has won many ribbons. Currently his limited breedings sell for $7,500. Her grandsire, 4Peruvian Matador, has passed away. Minuette’s first 2 offspring have done very well in the show ring and fleece shows, taking a COLOR, RESERVES, first, and second places.
