We are retiring, so Tuscan can be purchased with our breeding/show stock. See our package deal. Tuscan Gold has set a new standard of excellence. He is a complete package of perfect conformation, elite fleece characteristics with excellent bundling, brightness, crimp, and uniformity. The brightness of his fleece rivals suri luster. He has total coverage of this fleece from his spectacular head to his toes. And does he have presence! He just knows he is something special. When we check his sheared fleece in at the shows, it invariably gathers admirers and then further inquiry on which animal this fleece belongs to. This fleece has earned multiple championships and every specialty ribbon there is. He has maintained fineness well into his breeding years and is passing on this lasting fineness to his offspring. Tuscan stayed below 20 micron until he was 8 years of age when he was 20.0. And he passes this fineness on. For example, check out the histograms on sons Tuscan's Maestro, Tuscan's Semper Fi, Tuscan's Perfect Storm, all below 20 micron so far at 2 to 3 years of age. And uniformity is also in histogram mix. But a great herdsire is really measured by his offspring, and has Tuscan delivered! He stamps his babies with remarkable consistency for fine, well organized and crimpy fleece with his signature brightness on a beautifully balanced frame with good bone, extremely typey heads, complete leg coverage and his unmistakable presence. These babies have earned several Get of Sire awards for Tuscan Gold and several Breeders Best Three awards for Bella Vita Ranch. Our client list for Tuscan Gold offspring includes prestigious and discriminating farms such as Snowmass Alpacas, AL Pacas, Safe Haven Farm, Red Granite Ranch, Snow Diamond Alpacas and others. Judges have also bred to Tuscan Gold, so he has that stamp of approval from those who should know! Tuscan descends from the award winning MFI Brock line which has produced multiple champion Tuscan siblings. If you are looking to add presence, style, fabulous elite fleece with an incredible hand and extreme brightness, total body coverage, and great heads to your alpacas, Tuscan is your guy. Give us a call to discuss this great male who has proven his prepotency through his offspring. Not only is he improving fleece, but he is fixing conformation issues, hardest of the two to correct. If you like champion huacayas with that teddy bear-look and fabulous bright, fine fleece, that's what he delivers.

wonder fiber on a great dam!

AutumnSun's Vanilla Breezes

HuacayaBred (Female)Beige, Light Fawn
AOA# 31828796DOB: 6/5/200915 yrs
Vanilla comes from a line of easy-care, easy-breeding, and good-mothering dams. Her grand-dam and dam has have had 80% girls! Will Vanilla produce mostly girls? Could be, as she has had 2 girls to 1 boy! But that is not the only reason to want Vanilla in your herd… Vanilla’s fiber is very fine and shiny bright, with a good staple with a high frequency crimp. Her annual fiber clip automatically is sorted for next-to-skin products. Her fiber will be wonderful as a roving, mill-spun into yarn, or handspun, and it will easily dye just about any color. Vanilla is a quintessential production girl. She breeds easily, carries well, and births without assistance. She attentive to her crias and produces plenty of milk. Moreover, she has produced very nice crias for us, two girls and one boy. Her first cria, born on the Fourth of July, was sired by the sire of champions, El Nino's Golden Legend. Provenance matured quickly, and after a great showing as a juvenile and yearling she has produced fantastic crias for us. Vanilla's 2013 girl sired by Tuscan Gold is brilliant, and was aptly named Golden Reflection (Goldie). Goldie's fiber is just as soft and delicious to touch as her dam's fleece, and Goldie is producing fantastic crias for us as well. In 2014, Vanilla produced a little macho from her breeding to FIA Excello's Rocky Bay. This fawn boy is named Archer for his light marking on his forehead; his fiber is very shiny and soft! For 2015, Vanilla presened to us another girl, this one in a brown coloration. She is a sweetheart and pretty little thing! Overall, Vanilla has great fiber & conformation, easy health/care & breeding, and a sweet personality just like her dam and grand-dam. In the end, this is what we are all hoping for -- healthy alpacas that breed easily, produce improved crias, and provide a highly quality fiber!

Description

Goldie is a special girl. This sweet girl has fiber that you love to touch, so soft and silky. With her staple length and bright shine, this fiber is a joy for spinners and knitters alike. This is not surprising given her heritage. Her dam Vanilla Breezes and grand dam CeeJae both still produce fiber that is harvested for next-to-skin fiber production. With this understanding of their fiber qualities from her maternal line, we know that Goldie will continue to stay soft and shiny for a delightful yarn year after year. With her sire being the notable Sunny Mesa's Tuscan Gold, renowned for his own silky soft fleece that has garnered him multiple champion and specialty ribbons, Goldie clearly has the lineage for lasting fiber quality. Coupled with her spot on confirmation, gentle personality, and overall stylish looks and calm presence -- well, you have the solid foundation dam that you are looking for in any quality breeding program. Bella Vita Ranch comments about Tuscan Gold: "He stamps his babies with remarkable consistency for fine, well organized and crimpy fleece with his signature brightness on a beautifully balanced frame with good bone, extremely typey heads, complete leg coverage and his unmistakable presence....Tuscan is full Peruvian and 3/4 Accoyo. He is an Augusto grandson and Leon great grandson through his sire and a Starr Khan grandson and Hemingway great grandson through his dam. With these great names in his pedigree, it is easy to see why he gathered multiple color championships. Tuscan descends from the award winning MFI Brock line which has produced multiple champion Tuscan siblings. It is prepotent in the genetics." Goldie had a beautiful LF boy sired by Destinati, which fit the bill of our 'order' exactly (except that we ordered a girl :) )! Then she had a beautiful LF male by our Supermassive that shined like the imploding sun he was named after. He was sold as a juvenile.
