Holy Cow! his first offspring is ridiculously crimpy brown. I have one of my own due any day and cant wait!.... well the jury is in, JUDGES LOVED Tuscan Blacks offspring! Very stunning indeed. We heard best fleece in the class all show season long. Cant wait until fall of 2013 when the next batch are due! Now breeding and confirmed! You wont find Tuscan Black's high definition crimp on many blacks. Tuscan Black represents a NEW Peruvian black bloodline with no blacks in his pedigree, he is WIDE OPEN for any black breeding program....... Know of many blacks that sheared 3.4 lb blankets with a 20 afd?..... Now you do!. Shop and compare! Second year in a row that our Futurity Champion, Crystal, gave us a black Tuscan Gold cria. The first, AROSA Dazzlyn, won 7 banners Tuscan Black has all the signs of becoming a special boy. Very fine with brilliant sheen and high frequency crimp lend us to believe we may have another black champion like his 7X Champ full sister AROSA Dazzlyn, his 5X champ dam Crystal, and his 5X champ sire, Tuscan Gold. Piper's black cria from last year,Night Moves, won a championship at the 09 Kentucky Classic and 3rd place at Nationals. Followed that up with a striking Rico Suave fawn male. 2011 offspring, Pipers Viper, won 3rd at National. He is quite nice with long crimpy staple. This year we bred Piper to our Tuscan Black. Tuscan Black has amazing fleece, so the offspring should be very interesting and hoping black. We GOT IT! an awesome Black offsrping with amazing crimp and brightness Piper is a Sweet girl in more ways than one. Her Super sweet personality is the first thing that sets her apart from the herd . But as you start looking through her fiber , She's got the SWEETEST FLEECE! Nice high frequency crimp, fine long staple and a great handle. Piper's fleece is VERY consistent throughout her blanket, extending down her legs and under her belly! She has perfect conformation with straight legs and compact build. Piper's 2009 histogram (3 years old) 22.59AFD 4.98SD 22.04CV 92.83CF 39 curve Piper did well in the showring, never finishing below 2nd Place and Always being singled out for the best fleece in her class, Her bloodlines are very unique, with a pronounced background of black. We look for Piper to throw a lot of black for us over the years. This time around we took the opportunity to breed Piper to a visiting 8 year old herdsire that has a documented 17.1 micron at 8 years old. He is one of a kind and should add super fineness to Piper's already impressive fleece! sale pending......Anyone out there within driving distance of AROSA, and wanting to see some outstaning Black fleece , please come view this guy's amazing fleece, before he is sold. "OMG" ,"Holy Crap" and giggles are some first responses from visitors, upon opening Snipers fleece. This is a Male you have to see to really appreciate, he is amazing and getting better each day. Wow, this boy is very crimpy , dense, and bright. I dont know if it means anything to anyone, but Sniper has the densest top knot on our farm, and he is only 4 months old! His fleece Doesnt really surprise us, with both parents being extremely crimpy and dense. We have planned this genetic combination for over 4 years now, and the fruits of our labor is indeed juicy! This is Tuscan Blacks first black offspring. If this is a good example of things to come from our unique black herdsire, we are very happy. Snipers fleece is the best black fleece we have ever produced on our farm, and we have produced a few black champions. He is extremely dense, with incredible bundling of crimp. He has extreme brightness and his fineness at 3-4 months Im estimating about 19afd. His Sire AROSA Tuscan Black maintains 20 afd age 3, and his dam still maintains 23afd age 6 Bloodlines include Victor Vaccoyo, Accoyo Augusto, MFI Brock, Tuscan Gold, Hemingway,. This is a BRAND NEW black bloodline coming from his sire AROSA TUSCAN BLACK who has NO black in his pedigree. This is a boy to watch! AND save, but dont wait around too long on pulling the trigger on this boy, I just cant see him being around here too long. We expect some banners with this male, he would be an asset to any show string!
