Maple Brook Bravado

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)White
AOA# 833417DOB: 9/4/200123 yrs
An impressive pure Alianza Peruvian, Bravado is our foundation herdsire - in the true sense of the word: the male we built our breeding program on. This guy is fineness personified, with flawless conformation. Just look at the beautiful bundling in his fleece. His micron count at his ninth shearing was 21.8! That's LASTING fineness. Bravado is the result of combining the finest and most proven Peruvian alpaca genetics in North America: Bueno and Hemingway. Bueno is owned by Mike & Robin Tierney of MapleBrook Farm. His stud fee was $10,000, until he stopped breeding about a year ago. Bueno has sired over 100 winning offspring, and we believe Bravado is one of his best. Bravado's dam, NWA,Ltd Marcie contributes another line of proven superior genetics: the world famous Hemingway. Marcie's dam is Macarena, making her a full sister to well known sires Predictor, Hektor and Handsome. Bravado's crias have fantastic fleeces! Don't take my word for it, come see for yourself. Bravado is proudly co-owned with Ben and Gina Morgan of Morgan's Fortunato Farm. Breedings can be arranged at either farm. Call or email today to reserve yours. Bravado had skin biopsies evaluated by both Dr. Norm Evans and Dr. Jim Watts; call to see a copy! Siring CHAMPIONS, including: AlpacaPalace Houdini OutbackAlpacas Ezekiel - brown! Dam: Sixth Day Liberty's Snapdragon

Sixth Day Liberty's Snapdragon

HuacayaBred (Female)White
AOA# 31881906DOB: 9/23/200915 yrs
Snap up Snapdragon before someone else does! A beautiful pure Peruvian female with the potential to be bred for color - or for elite white: your choice. Three of her sire's grandparents have color fleeces, and her dam is sired by a SILVER GREY. The combination of elite, incredibly dense fleeces with COLOR in this pedigree tells us she should be in a color breeding program. Fleece - well defined crimp with good amplitude and about 7 crimps per inch. Bright. Silky soft. Well defined, solid staples. Sire - Franklin's Liberty is one of the densest alpacas ever, as proven by skin biopsy. A handsome example of the quality that can result from crossing the Accoyo and Alianza lines, he is proving his worth as a sire. A grandson of the fawn Accoyo male Felix, and the great Hemingway. Dam - Salutation's Sunflower is the daughter of one of the 'cornerstones' of the Sixth Day herd: PPP Salutation. Among other fine traits, she passes along her dense, gorgeous fleece and well defined crimp. Salutation kept that desireable crimp archetecture into her teens! Sunflower's sire is a SILVER GREY. That, and a fawn/brown spot on her neck (just like Matrix!) indicates her potential - and her crias' potential - to produce high-end crias 'in living COLOR'! DISCOUNTS on two or more alpacas! Snapdragon is located at Sixth Day Farm West in Wellington, CO.
