A beautiful pure Peruvian female with the potential to be bred for color - or for elite white: your choice.
Three of her sire's grandparents have color fleeces, and her dam is sired by a SILVER GREY. The combination of elite, incredibly dense fleeces with COLOR in this pedigree tells us she should be in a color breeding program.
Fleece - well defined crimp with good amplitude and about 7 crimps per inch. Bright. Silky soft. Well defined, solid staples.
Sire - Franklin's Liberty is one of the densest alpacas ever, as proven by skin biopsy. A handsome example of the quality that can result from crossing the Accoyo and Alianza lines, he is proving his worth as a sire. A grandson of the fawn Accoyo male Felix, and the great Hemingway.
Dam - Salutation's Sunflower is the daughter of one of the 'cornerstones' of the Sixth Day herd: PPP Salutation. Among other fine traits, she passes along her dense, gorgeous fleece and well defined crimp. Salutation kept that desireable crimp archetecture into her teens!
Sunflower's sire is a SILVER GREY. That, and a fawn/brown spot on her neck (just like Matrix!) indicates her potential - and her crias' potential - to produce high-end crias 'in living COLOR'!
