Canaletto has an extraordinarily dense fiber with amazing finess and character that extends from his top knot down through his neck and body. He has a extreamly uniform superfine fleece and has consistantly passed the finess and uniformity between primary and secondary fibers off to his offspring. His fleece did not increase by even a full micron for almost 5 years, and this strong gentic propensity for finess is seen in his crias, with the majority of them being in the 19-20 micron range. His sire, the famous gray, Snowmass Peruvian Casanova has also been a top seller and AOBA Herdsire of the Year.
