We are currently consigning this fantastic female for our friends Ron and Cheryl of Paint Brush alpacas. Due to circumstances, they were forced to sell their farm and small herd of amazing colored alpacas. Their elite females, of which Katie is one, are all that remain and are listed on our site. Look at his 8 year old skin biopsy results: 2008 SKIN BIOPSY RESULTS; DENSITY 45.8, PRIMARY TO SECONDARY RATIO 11.79 TO 1 SECONDARY MEAN FIBER DIAMETER 24.23 WITH AN SD OF 2.82. IAN WATTS STATES, THIS IS AMAZING FINENESS CONSISTENCY, AND DENSITY FOR A DARK COLORED MALE THAT IS 8 YEARS OLD !!!!! Katie's fleece is still very fine with good density and she is a powerhouse producer of phenomenal kids. Take a gander at her 2008 cria Paintbrush Andean Rose - she's a color champion and multiple blue ribbon winner. Her 2013 female cria (pictured at right) is a gorgeous girl with a very uniform fleece in color and character.
