OLAA Peruvian Donner

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)White
AOA# 31583909DOB: 6/16/200915 yrs
At 8 years of age, Donner still has a 22.6 AFD and only 5.8% over 30! He's also carrying a few extra pounds so these stats are most likely even better! Donner has thrown black when bred to black! This is a very versatile boy that shears 11 - 12 pounds consistently. We continually sell his yarn because of his soft handle and his fleece is so bright. We are selling Donner because he is to good of a herd sire to not be used by someone. With having Peruvian Ventura and Peruvian Dasher (Donner's 1/2 brother) he simply is not getting the breeding opportunities. This is an outstanding herd sire for a very reasonable price. Donner is a 1/2 Accoyo son of our blue ribbon herdsire IHA Peruvian Donato and our 3/4 Accoyo Augusto daughter Merry Noel. Donner’s fleece is simply “amazing” His fiber is bright and has extreme bundling. He is dense and best of all, a fine 16.8 micron. His sire Donato still has a 23.8 micron at 8 years of age. Donato shears 10 - 12 lbs. yearly and Donner is following in those same footsteps. His grandsire PPPeruvian Augusto was also known for his fineness. This pedigree has Royal Fawn, Caligula, Augusto, Hemingway and Presidio. Donner’s skin biopsy results are in and Norm Evans places him in the top 2 – 3% of males he has tested. At 3 years old, his density is 64 follicles sq mm, s/p ratio 14.1:1, level 4 of 4 gland presence which creates the brightness that is a highly heritable trait! His secondary fibers were an 18.3 micron and primary was 26 putting him below the average variation that Norm has tested which is 8.3. Donner's fleece always took 1st at shows and won awards for best hand, best crimp and the judges always commented on his outstanding brightness. This he is passing to his offspring.

Description

Full Peruvian! Dancer comes from a long line of Peruvian Imports and her fiber and conformation match her impressive pedigree. Her dam is a daughter of Snowmass Debeers and that lineage has MFI Barringer as well as Hemingway, El Mustachio and Snowmaster. Dancer’s sire is 2X champion and 18 time blue ribbon winner OLAA Peruvian Donner. Donner’s lineage is Presidio, Caligula, Augusto, Royal Fawn and Hemingway. Donner’s fleece stats are impressive as well and has passed those traits to Dancer. Dr. Norm Evan tested his biopsy and reports follicle density at 64 Sq MM, S/P ratio of 14.1:1 and level 4 of 4 in gland presence which is where Dancer gets her very bright fleece. Judge Sharon Loner commented that Dancer’s fleece is bright, fine and extremely consistent and packs a lot of fleece on her frame. She awarded Dancer 2nd place at the 2013 Spring Bling show. Let this girl be part of your foundation stock and put you in the ribbons at show time or simply add her to your herd for her excellent fiber quality. Dancer comes with a breeding to any fully owned OLAA herd sire. We are offering this girl at a bargain price. She needs to go into a breeding program and we simply have too many quality girls to breed them all.
