2 Time Champion 18 Blue Ribbons
OLAA Peruvian Donner
Alpaca, Huacaya, Herdsire (Male) | White
AOA #31583909 | DOB: 6/16/2009 (15 yrs)
Sire: IHA Presidio's Donato
31583909<--ari-->White<--color-->Lingering Fineness!
If you’re looking for fleece with crimp, density, brightness and handle this 3/8 accoyo male has it all. Son of Peruvian Presidio, one of Caligula's greatest sons, as well as Royal Fawn and Hemingway on the dam’s side. Donato's demeanor is gentle and he is very easy to handle. What great genetics to add to any herd. Truly some of the best fleece you will find. Donato's fleece placed 5th at the 2008 AOBA National F2F Fleece show.
Donato has 11 offspring on the ground including 4 at Oak Lawn Alpacas and his offspring all carry the fleece characteristics that you want to see passed down. The density, fineness, crimp and brightness are outstanding. We can show you the fleece improvements from dam to offspring. Two of Donato’s offspring are Peruvian Donner and Peruvian Libertie. Both of these offspring had 16.8 and 18 micron respectively. Both have done extremely well in the showring including blue ribbons in the always tough white classes.
Donato consistently shears over 7#’s on his blanket weight and at age 6, still maintains excellent fleece stats: micron 23.1, SD 4.2, CV 18.5, Medullated Fibers 12.5%, Spin Fineness 22, Curvature 40.5.
Donato's offspring in 2011 all sheared with a blanket weight over 5 lbs. with Donner at 6.8 and Libertie at 6.0. This male will put density and fineness on your cria. Luna, a dark fawn sheared over 5 lbs. in 2012 with a 17.8 micron!
Donato’s micron came back for 2012 and at 8 years of age, still has a 23.8!

Dam: Merry Noel
31583909<--ari-->White<--color-->Merry Noel is a 3/4 Accoyo from one of the greatest imported Peruvians, PPPeruvian Augusto. Augusto had a rating of 9 due to his fine micron and excellent fleece coverage. Her dam's sire was the 1995 import full accoyo PPPeruvian Bravado. Merry Noel has given us 3 excellent male studs. Merry Noel has finally given us the girl we so desperately wanted from Peruvian Donato.
Peruvian Donner was born in 2009 and is a 2X champion as well as an 18 time blue ribbon winner. His award winning fleece has won judges choice in best hand and best crimp. Donner's micron was a 15.8 at 2 months, 16.8 at 14 months and 19 at 2 years. At 14 months, his curvature was 52. Donner is on our stud row. In 2010, Blitzen was born. His first year micron was 17. He is holding his fineness and has above average staple length. Donner and Blitzen together made Merry Noel a 5X Produce of Dam winner during the 2011 & 2012 show seasons. Dasher, who was born in 2011, has a micron of 15.9 and SD of 3.4 at 1 year of age! His handle is like butter.
Because of her age and the fact we finally got a girl, we are going to retire Merry Noel.

Description
At 8 years of age, Donner still has a 22.6 AFD and only 5.8% over 30! He's also carrying a few extra pounds so these stats are most likely even better! Donner has thrown black when bred to black! This is a very versatile boy that shears 11 - 12 pounds consistently. We continually sell his yarn because of his soft handle and his fleece is so bright.
We are selling Donner because he is to good of a herd sire to not be used by someone. With having Peruvian Ventura and Peruvian Dasher (Donner's 1/2 brother) he simply is not getting the breeding opportunities.
This is an outstanding herd sire for a very reasonable price.
Donner is a 1/2 Accoyo son of our blue ribbon herdsire IHA Peruvian Donato and our 3/4 Accoyo Augusto daughter Merry Noel. Donner’s fleece is simply “amazing” His fiber is bright and has extreme bundling. He is dense and best of all, a fine 16.8 micron. His sire Donato still has a 23.8 micron at 8 years of age. Donato shears 10 - 12 lbs. yearly and Donner is following in those same footsteps. His grandsire PPPeruvian Augusto was also known for his fineness. This pedigree has Royal Fawn, Caligula, Augusto, Hemingway and Presidio.
Donner’s skin biopsy results are in and Norm Evans places him in the top 2 – 3% of males he has tested. At 3 years old, his density is 64 follicles sq mm, s/p ratio 14.1:1, level 4 of 4 gland presence which creates the brightness that is a highly heritable trait! His secondary fibers were an 18.3 micron and primary was 26 putting him below the average variation that Norm has tested which is 8.3.
Donner's fleece always took 1st at shows and won awards for best hand, best crimp and the judges always commented on his outstanding brightness. This he is passing to his offspring.
