AOBA Nationals 2010 COLOR CHAMPION at 3 years of age!! Vinny placed over males much younger and from some of the top farms in the country! The competition was tough at this show, but Vinny still triumphed over males much younger. The judge couldn't help but to comment on his continuing fineness. Uniformity, Consistency, Fineness... It is difficult to find such low SD and CV numbers. 2008: AFD 19.0; SD 3.1; CV 16.3; >30 1.0 - Spinning fineness 17.26 2009: AFD 19.8; SD 3.3; CV 16.5; >30 0.5 2010: AFD 21.7; SD 3.5; CV 16.0; >30 1.3 2013: AFD 23.0; SD 3.9; CV 17.1; Comfort Factor 96.5%; Spin Fineness 21.7!! All of this at 6 years of age!! 2014 : Afd 22.2; SD 3.7 ; CV 16.5 ; Comfort Factor 98.1 %; Spin Fineness 20.8 !! Getting better with age! 2015 : Afd 21.9; SD 3.3; CV 15.2; Comfort Factor 97.9%; Spin Fineness 20.3 at 8 years of age!! Breedings are being reserved now. A phone call and a small deposit will hold your booking! With stats like Vinny's it is easy to see how you can upgrade your grey breeding program today. Vinny is technically a Light Rose Grey as he has the Rose Grey down his neck, the cap on his head and brown and black fibers running all throughout his blanket. This makes Vinny a "stealth" Grey. To cover Grey and have the fineness, bundles and elite fleece is a rare find and just what Vinny offers. Vinny's Dam is none other than the MAPACA Grey Color Champion - Vindaloo! Her rich Rose Grey color and super fine fleece has complimented Accoyo The Babe well and helped to produce a high quality Herd Sire in Vinny. Vinny has been shown in Indefinite Light - meaning he is a light animal with dark fibers running through - when he was a Juvi and as a Yearling, he has shown in Beige. The judge could not say enough about him in the Beige class and actually complimented him more than any of his competition. She loved his balanced frame, large bone, coverage, typey head, high frequency crimp and tiny bundles. She explained to all that the reason he was standing in 5th (out of 15 animals at a level V show) was due to the dark fibers running throughout his fleece. The judge at Oaba Alpacafest commented on Vinny's "Substantial presence and Superb head style". She stated that he is a very "Robust male" and exhibits "Very soft handling and consistent fleece". Vinny has limited offspring on the ground but check out the results below. He is definitely passing on those fine fleece traits!! Vinny is co-owned with Benchmark Alpacas.

AU Elektra

HuacayaOpen (Female)True Black
AOA# 838169DOB: 6/7/200222 yrs
Elektra is a beautiful black proven female. She has many grey fibers throughout her face and neck. She has a very sweet temperament and solid conformation. Her sire is the very well known dark silver grey Dom Timbo from Magical Farms. This is what they have to say about Dom : "Peruvian Dom Timbo is a dense, typey, dark silver grey Peruvian male with excellent fleece character. He is a very CONSISTENT producer of grey and black offspring. Dom is a pre-potent, proven male who has sired many blue ribbon and multi-champion crias. " "Peruvian Dom Timbo was the very first huacaya male chosen in the 1998 Peruvian import, chosen even BEFORE any Accoyo males included in that import... he is that good! He is a proud, stunning, flashy male and an excellent breeder. His fleece is dense and has a uniform crimp, characteristics exceedingly rare in grey alpacas. " Her dam is a black Matador daughter. Matador is a rare, black, Full Peruvian import with dense and crimpy fleece. He was chosen off the top of the import as an "owner animal" meaning that the importers had chosen him for themselves. He has thrown grey as often as black. Talk about a great black and grey pedigree! Elektra produced a gorgeous medium rose grey male for us who has been sold.
