Service Sire: Peaceful Heart's Lord Tennyson
31076326<--ari-->White<--color-->Lord Tennyson has it all, wonderful bloodlines – Bueno, Caligula, El Patron, The Silversmith; incredible fleece – brilliant white, tight, crimpy bundles; good size and conformation; and incredible presence. Tennyson has inherited the great fleece shearing weight of his sire Lord Byron, like his sire Tennyson shears around 10 pounds. In addition to all these wonderful characteristics, Tennyson is a gentle boy with an incredible sense of presence about him.
At the 2009 VAOBA Expo Fleece Show, he was awarded the Reserve Color Championship. Earlier that year, he won First in the light class of the Virginia Classic Walking Fleece Fiber Futurity for the second time in a row. In 2008 he won as the youngest in the class at exactly 6 months of age (and went on to win Best in Futurity), and next year as the oldest in the class, just one day shy of 18 months. He continues to do well in regional and national shows.
Lord Tennyson’s first crias hit the ground in 2011, and they are incredible. Tennyson’s Milton has lovely fleece, conformation, and that sense of presence that hints at great things to come. Tennyson’s Becket has all that in fawn, and Timbuctoo has incredible fiber and one of the sweetest faces I’ve ever seen. In 2012, we welcomed Lady Clare (and an almost identical beauty who was born off the farm) and Sir Galahad in the spring and Tennyson’s Arthur and White Owl in the fall. They offer additional proof that Tennyson is producing consistently dense, bright and conformationally correct offspring. You can see his stamp in their adorable ‘teddy bear’ faces and fleece. We were very pleased when Tennyson won First in the 2013 VA Classic Get of Sire. At the same show, Sir Galahad repeated Tennyson's success in the Walking Fleece competition, winning First and Champion.

Our Bonnie Alice is a beauty. She has provided an incredible foundation for our herd. Bonnie's dam was one of our first purchases, a lovely and dense Peruvian import. Bonnie was born our second year in business and has produced 4 lovely crias for us.
She gave birth to her first cria in 2010, and he is incredible. J Dubs 40 has incredibly dense fleece with deep crimp and tightly formed locks in a bright light fawn. In 2011, we welcomed Autumn Breeze to the farm. She is as beautiful as her mother in all aspects, and gave birth to her first cria in 2014. In 2013, Bonnie gave us a lovely bay black girl named Early Riser, who is now part of our foundation herd. For 2014, we bred Bonnie to our Reserve Champion herdsire Lord Tennyson. It was a combination I had been looking forward to for years, and it turned out as spectacular as I had hoped. Merlin is part of our next generation of herdsires.
Bonnie has great conformation, incredibly dense fleece, and impressive bloodlines, including Hemingway, Azungate and Peruvian King. Bonnie has won multiple ribbons, including 1st places in 2010 CABO, 2011 VAOBA, 2012 MAPACA and 2014 MAPACA Spin-Offs. She also won the Judge's Choice for Fawn alpacas in the 2014 Alpaca Owner's Association National Spin-Off despite being one of the oldest in the competition.
Bonnie sells with a breeding and would breed with any of our Champion herdsires for a great cria. Talk with us to decide which would be the right combination for your farm goals.
