Arch Angel is new to Peaceful Heart Alpacas. He is a Full Peruvian, Snowmass-bred, Bueno grandson. Son of the famous Rose Gray herdsire, Snowmass Casanova and PPPeruvian Halo, Angel is a large boned, impressive alpaca with correct conformation and bite. He has passed on his incredible staple length and fine fiber to his offspring. All his cria are large, heavy boned and beautifully balanced with straight legs and backs. His 2006 cria out of AHR Francesca (also a new addition to the farm) was the Reserve Color Champion at the 2006 VAOBA Expo. We repeated this breeding and are thrilled with the results. Our Bonnie Alice is a beauty. She has provided an incredible foundation for our herd. Bonnie's dam was one of our first purchases, a lovely and dense Peruvian import. Bonnie was born our second year in business and has produced 4 lovely crias for us. She gave birth to her first cria in 2010, and he is incredible. J Dubs 40 has incredibly dense fleece with deep crimp and tightly formed locks in a bright light fawn. In 2011, we welcomed Autumn Breeze to the farm. She is as beautiful as her mother in all aspects, and gave birth to her first cria in 2014. In 2013, Bonnie gave us a lovely bay black girl named Early Riser, who is now part of our foundation herd. For 2014, we bred Bonnie to our Reserve Champion herdsire Lord Tennyson. It was a combination I had been looking forward to for years, and it turned out as spectacular as I had hoped. Merlin is part of our next generation of herdsires. Bonnie has great conformation, incredibly dense fleece, and impressive bloodlines, including Hemingway, Azungate and Peruvian King. Bonnie has won multiple ribbons, including 1st places in 2010 CABO, 2011 VAOBA, 2012 MAPACA and 2014 MAPACA Spin-Offs. She also won the Judge's Choice for Fawn alpacas in the 2014 Alpaca Owner's Association National Spin-Off despite being one of the oldest in the competition. Polar Ice is the newest addition to our herdsire lineup at Peaceful Heart Alpacas. He brings an incredible genetic background including Jedi Accoyo of the USA, Caligula, and Bolivian Ice Man, and a fabulous, dense, buttery soft fleece full of beautiful crimp. He has been in the show ring many times and has brought home an impressive collection of ribbons including 11 First Place, 3 Reserve Color Championships (two in halter and one in fleece), and a Color Championship at the 2012 Buckeye Show. We first saw Polar Ice at the 2013 Virginia Classic where we were struck with his presence as he walked into the ring, and watched as he walked away with yet another First Place win.
