Lord Graystone is a beautiful medium silver Gray out of Silver King and a large dam with 19 micron fiber, He has inherited his sire’s color, and his dam’s size , fine fiber, incredible luster and tight locks. In the show ring a judge parted his fiber and exclaimed WOW, upon examination of the luster and lock in his fiber. In Dr. Evans testing Lord Graystone shows well above average in both S & P and bundle consistency, as well as a high degree of secondary medulation which gives body and form to the lock. He is currently producing 50% gray offspring. If you are breeding for gray, Lord Graystone brings you third generation, full Peruvian, award winning gray. Lord Greystone took 1st place over Yodi in the 2004 Futurity, under Mike Safley, and first at OABA. he also placed second at Nationals, He consistently placed above Eminence Griese, and took First in Fiber at Estes Park in 2006. We own Alfreds Sire Greystone and love the cria he is giving us, but Greystone isn't going to be around forever and we didn't want to lose these valuable genetics that keep producing goregous crias for us. We had a chance last year to show two of Alfreds female offspring for Suri Haven Alpacas, one took a 1st only to be beat out by her half sister, who took Color Champion, both Alfred girls, both goregous, density, luster, long ropey locks, just stunning at that time I was thinking "wow" well now he is coming to California and available for breedings.
