24 Cria . . . and counting! Some of the finest pencil locks and best coverage we've ever produced. ALL SURIS, with magnificent luster and incredible suri character! ALL with locks to die for - Gordon could put locks on a gold fish ! He is sired by a Cool Fire son (Brioni of PVA) who placed 1st at AOBA Nationals 2001. He is out of a Mahogany Prince daughter (Anastasia of PVA) who is a top producer. Gordon's maternal sister Ariel, placed first at Futurity 2006. The genetics are superior and deep. Gordon is a FULL FOURTH GENERATION suri and goes back to 5th generation ON BOTH SIDES! (Click on the certificate icon above right to see his ARI certificate and pedigree). Gordon's paternal grand-sire Cool Fire is one of the most famous colored herdsires in alpaca show history and has produced numerous winners. Gordon's paternal grand-dam is a Pardner daughter. Gordon's great-grand sire is the legendary Peruvian Fuego -- one of the early great imported herdsires. Fuego sired a number of notable cria that went on to become premier herdsires. Gordon's dam, Anastasia of PVA, is sired by Mahogony Prince and has produced one winning cria after another. Her cria Ariel placed first at Futurity. Mahogany Prince was Herdsire of the Year for two years in a row and he set a sale price record when he was sold for $325,000. He remains the highest selling suri EVER. He is the winner of multiple Grand Championships and Get-of-Sire awards, and many of his offspring have gone on to win Grand Championships and Get of Sire ribbons themselves. The genetics here are SUPERIOR and DEEP. And, of course, he is DARK ROSE GRAY! There is nothing like him. Look at the cria pics! Click pics for larger view! No outside breedings - see our sales list for daughters and gals bred to him.

Description

"Dreamy" is gorgeous! Look at her locks and look at what she passes to her cria. Incredible. Her dam is a MacGyver daughter and her sire is a cross of Mahogany Prince and Cool Fire lines and gray! And, Dreamy got the best from all sides. Two ribbon-winning parents and Dreamy is no different - she did well in a TOUGH COMPETITIVE CLASS OF 15 - Yep, A CLASS OF 15 of the Best in the West. And, she is a FULL FOURTH GENERATION SURI, likely to breed true. Why is "advanced generation" important? If a breeder is doing their job, each new generation is an improvement on the previous. TWELVE breeding decisions went into producing Dreamy . . . utilizing some of the best herdsires at each generation . . . AND IT SHOWS. Click the certificate icon, above right, to view her ARI certificate. She has wonderful, buttery, melt-in-your-mouth fiber: very fine (20.5 AFD), very consistent (SD 4.7), high-luster, independent locks and is a solid, rich dark brown. Her first cria is our Elite Island Dream, a solid dark silver gray ("modern gray") who has no white markings (see her separate listing in sold sect). Obviously, Dreamy is carrying a true black color gene. Bred to a black male, she has a 50% chance of producing a black cria. JUST LOOK AT THE NECK ON THIS CRIA - see pic!!!! There simply aren't grays like this. Her second cria, Tropicana, sired by a fancy mahogany male, is just as spectacular. She has incredible fine fiber with consistent suri character and full coverage. See pic. Her third cria, What A Dream, is also a solid dark silver modern gray. She is a full sibling to Island Dream and looks exactly like her gorgeous older sister did at this age. Click pics for larger view. Dreamy brings so much to the table, that we expect all her cria to be exceptional.
