With 8 championships & 16 blue ribbons, Invasion is one of the top full Accoyo colored herdsires in the country. With 13 champion cria, it has become clear that Invasion is passing on his elite fleece characteristics to his offspring. Invasion is adding outstanding crimp, color, density, brightness & well respected lineage to his cria. As evident from his own show record, judges around the country agree that Invasion is an elite alpaca. Now statistics from his recent skin biopsy test support his caliber of fleece. In addition his first Ideuma Creek cria are doing outstanding in fleece shows. Using all of the tools available, Invasion keeps proving time & time again that he is a superior herdsire. If you're looking to add density, consider Invasion's skin biopsy report done by Ian Watt: Follicle Denisty - 65.28 Secondary:Primary Ratio 14.4 : 1 "This is a high quality male whose primary breeding objective should be to deliver elite fleece trait genetics in any breeding plan, especially where color is a consideration" - Ian Watt Invasion's cria have more than impressive results. In just three years of showing our Ideuma Creek Invasion cria, they have earned 14 championships, 5 different cria have earned the BEST BRIGHTNESS award and 3 different cria have won the BEST CRIMP award. In addition, Ideuma Creek's Bo Jangles (owned by Prairie's Edge Alpacas) just took JUDGE'S CHOICE at MOPACA! As you would expect, Invasion does not come by these elite fleece traits by chance. He is a Royal Fawn grandson. His genetics come from well respected & well tested lineages. At age 6, he still holds fantastic crimp & fineness. Invasion is passing on color as well. He has produced every color cria including BLACK as well as superior white cria. Proudly co-owned with NYALA.

Dam: Accoyo Ascension

CHAMPION Fawn Michelangelo Daughter!

Accoyo Ascension

HuacayaBred (Female)Medium Fawn
AOA# 30848245DOB: 7/15/200717 yrs
We are thrilled to have Michelangelo's Accoyo Ascension here at Ideuma Creek. She is a stunning CHAMPION fawn full Accoyo girl with an impressive genotype and a beautiful phenotype. Ascension comes from great lineage. Her dam is one of North Coast Alpacas best females, Peruvian Matilda. She is a large, white, full Accoyo girl with outstanding coverage. She is the dam to multiple blue ribbon full Accoyo herdsires including El Accoyo Pacifico, a beige herdsire with a shear weight of 12.5 pounds and Accoyo Asante, one of the darkest full Accoyos in the country. Ascension's sire, El Nino's Accoyo Michelangelo, needs no introduction. He is well known and well respected throughout the alpaca community as one of the best full Accoyo herdsires available. Michelangelo has proven himself not only in the showring, but also with his offspring in the showring. He has produced champion offspring his very first year of breeding. Michelangelo's fiber statistics (16.5 micron) and follicle density results (115/sm) also indicate a superior alpaca. Knowing Ascension's heritage makes it easy to understand why she is such a beautiful girl - incredible coverage, gorgeous fleece with nice crimp and impressive staple length. To make her even more attractive, Ascension's color genetics indicate she may be able to produce even darker full Accoyo cria. She herself is medium fawn and since Michelangelo has already produced several black cria, Ascension might just be able to do the same herself. Ascension carries the much sought after colored full Accoyo genetics of Michelangelo, El Nino and Caligula. She is the total package - beautiful, typey phenotype and champion elite genotype. Judges seem to agree. . . Ascension just took her first championship (out of 26 fleeces!) and fifth blue ribbon! Her Color Championship was won at the AFCNA fleece show - a level 4 show where some of the best fleeces from around the country compete! In 2010 Ascension delivered her first cria, a gorgeous fawn female that we named Accoyo Cadence when paired with our 8X Champion, Accoyo Invasion. Cadence is everything we had hoped for - bright, crimpy, soft, consistent, dark, and a beautiful typey build. We've, of course, repeated the breeding and are crossing our fingers that these two champions produce another one just like Cadence for us again in 2011. 2011 brought us an INCREDIBLE male, Accoyo Resolute. He's bright, crimpy, dense and fine. We love him. Ascension is bred to Accoyo Stratosphere for her 2012 cria. Here's what judges from across the country have said about Accoyo Ascension's fleece: "Great fineness and handle! Excellent weight!" - Cheryl Gehly "Very healthy fleece and very fine. Impressive density." - Sara Jane Maclennan "Nice staple" - Sharon Loner "Nice definition to crimp" - Kathy Klay "Fantastic fleece - style and bright! - Wade Gease "Wonderful length of staple in this dense, uniform fleece!" - Cheryl Ge

Description

UPDATE - at Cady's very first fleece show, she earned a blue ribbon, & a reserve color championship. Her fineness & handle score was an impressive 19.5 / 20! The judge, Ken Hibbits, loved her fleece & commented, "Great fineness/handle, good crimp & character" Accoyo Cadence, Cady for short, is the result of very careful selection & thoughtful breeding. We purchased Cady's dam, Accoyo Ascension, when she was just a juvenile. Based on her breeding (a Michaelangelo daughter) & on the bundling soft crimp she was already exhibiting, we were confident she would be a good match for our herdsire, Accoyo Invasion who at the time was winning championship after championship in both halter a&fleece. We were correct with our thoughts on Ascension. She went on to be a multi-champion and earn 7 blue ribbons for us. Her micron statistics continue to be impressive. Cady is Ascension's first cria. We couldn't be happier. She is a medium fawn, consistent girl with absolutely brilliant fleece. Three of her paternal siblings have already won the best brightness award, and we would be surprised if Cady doesn't earn this accolade herself. She glows with bundling, zipper crimp and great density. Consistent is her middle name - she is consistent in color, in crimp (through her neck, blanket, legs and tail) and shine. Cady has a strong, typey build with great coverage. She simply looks incredible, and we are darn proud to have made her here at our farm. Cady had her very first cria in 2013, and she's proven herself as an excellent mom - easy birth, very attentive and tons of milk, and her first cria, Accoyo Infinity, is beautiful! Cady continues to give us the most gorgeous cria. Last year we line-bred to her to our El Nino son, Accoyo Zagot, a champion. We were so pleased with the result that we rebred her to Zagot for her 2016 cria due in mid July.
