We are thrilled to announce our new partnership with Pleasant Hill Alpacas & Canterbury Farms Alpacas on this incredible herd sire. Strat is one of the premiere fawn Accoyo herd sires in the country. In just 3 years of cria in the show ring, his offspring have over 35 championships & over 68 blue ribbons. When Genine, our partner from Canterbury Farms Alpacas, went to the 2010 Kentucky Classic, she couldn’t have been more proud; a Strat cria won the white color championship. A Strat cria won the black reserve color championship, & a Strat cria won the brown reserve color championship as well! It is no wonder Strat took 1st place, get-of-sire at that show & at the OABA Alpacafest as well! In addition to these 2 Get-of-Sires, Strat has 5 blue ribbons for his awesome conformation & beautiful fiber. He has never been beat by another full Accoyo in the show ring! Stratosphere is the product of 4Peruvian Accoyo Legacy, the highest selling alpaca of all time, & Accoyo Astillero, the dam of multiple blue ribbon & champion cria. He is 1 of only a handful of full Accoyos that Legacy has EVER produced, & is 1 of only 2 herd sire Medium Fawn Full Accoyo Legacy sons in the world! Stratosphere CONSISTANTLY improves the dam, at every level adding density, crimp, fineness & beautiful coverage & heads to his cria. In addition to quality, Strat adds COLOR as well. He is a rich medium fawn & has produced cria of all colors including black & grey. In fact, almost every black cria that he has produced has become a champion! Call about our Book-a-Breeding Incentives and our special breeding packages. Right now we’re featuring our “Make A Champion Cria” package featuring a breeding to Stat and an Accoyo Invasion breeding for $3500. The best way to make a champion cria is to breed to a male that consistently is producing champion cria. Visit Strat here in New York this summer! UPDATE - at MAPACA 2011 - Strat cria took blues in white, black, beige and brown - the reserve color championship in white and the color championship in black! To celebrate Strat's inaugural visit to NY, we are offering $1k off his breeding fee to the first ten who book breedings with him. That's $1500 for a breeding to Strat!

Dam: Ideuma Creek's Peruvian Marnia

2X Color Champion in True Black!

Ideuma Creek's Peruvian Marnia

HuacayaBred (Female)True Black
AOA# 30938434DOB: 6/2/200816 yrs
Marnia is now a two time champion! Her fiber stats provide the science behind the success - AFD of only 19.4 is pretty darn soft, especially for a black! Marnia is exactly what we were hoping for when we paired our true black reserve color champion, Peruvian The Scotsman, with our fawn full Peruvian girl, Xtra Special Missy. Missy's sire is the infamous Black Magic so we knew she covered black. We've just been waiting for her to produce a black cria. Then along came Marnia, and boy, are we impressed! Marnia has amazing fiber - a high frequency, consistent crimp throughout her blanket, neck, legs and tail. Her fiber is soft and dense. All of this in true black. It's a dream come true! Marnia's conformation is also right on. She's straight, solid and strong with an excellent bite. The quality of her fiber and her form is no happen-chance. Marnia's sire is reserve color champion, Peruvian The Scotsman who also boasts four blue ribbons. Her dam is Xtra Special Missy, daughter of Black Magic, maternal granddaughter of Peruvian Jaxon and daughter of Peruvian Melissa, the dam to multiple color champion, Kodiak. To top it all off, Marnia is a sweet girl with a very friendly disposition. Since Accoyo Invasion had his first two black cria this spring, we decided to breed Marnia to him. This cria will be full Peruvian, half Accoyo, perhaps black and the cria's dam and sire are both multiple champions. UPDATE - check out Marnia's 2011 cria out of Invasion! He's beautiful, and he's a MODERN DARK SILVER GREY! Marnia delivered a gorgeous silver grey boy out of Grey Matter in 2015. We've rebred her to Grey Matter for a hopeful repeat performance in 2016 Here's what the judges have to say about Marnia's fleece: "Good crimp style & density" - Diana Timmerman "Lovely hand - excellent brightness!" Description

This girl has exceptional fleece. She is exhibiting high frequency crimp, rich color, good staple and density, and she is very photogenic. She comes from a long line of robust, elite color. Her dam is Peruvian Marnia, a true black fleece champion, and her sire is Accoyo Stratosphere. If you are looking for an exceptional foundation female for a full Peruvian program or even a black breeding program, you might want to consider Sonata. If bred to black, she should give black cria half the time. If you could reproduce her fleece in black, you would have a champion for sure! She comes with a breeding to the herd sire of your choice. If you are going for black or grey, we have Peruvian Grey Matter, a Lancaster son to offer. If you wanted more Accoyo lineage in the cria's pedigree, your choices are many. Accoyo Zagot covers black and would add El Nino; Cuba Libre covers black and would add Leon and Express. Invasion covers black and would add Royal Fawn. We would be very interested in selling this girl with an alpaca friend and would make a nice package price if you are interested. Put her with true black Peruvian Marina for two incredible young foundation females that are sure to bring color and quality to a breeding program.
