Yes, this is the same gorgeous animal gracing the cover of the fall 2006 Alpacas Magazine. This exceptional herdsire is what Suri breeders are looking for. And according to Judge Mike Safley, in his travels to many shows, and what he has seen, this is what Suri breeders should be breeding for. The fineness of his fleece is exceptional and his bite and conformation are excellent. He has great density, uniformity, very independent lock structure all the way to the skin and phenomenal luster. He is a large boned compact male like his sire Bruxo. Although deceased, we have some foundation females by him who will carry on his legacy, and the Bruxo line.

Description

This little girl’s is so very soft and fine that every time I look at her I just want to pick her up and hug her. Her Dam produces champions and her Sire is the 2006 AOBA National White Color Champion Bruxo's Peruvian Luxor. Grace is small for her age and only weighed 38 pounds one week prior to her 1st show. At the GMAF you could see the judge shake his head as this very small alpaca was led into the ring. Then he opened her fleece and BAM, you could see his whole attitude change. When he made his statements after placements he said Grace had the best density & luster in the class. He said she appears to be putting all her energy into fleece production. At 3 1/2 years old Grace has maintained her small status, even after shearing and we will be breeding her to the smallest male we can find. We believe she qualifies as a true mini alpaca. Because of this I am not in a hurry to breed her but this Summer if Defiances Peruvian Fawnzy is ready I will match them up. Fawnzy is also a fairly small alpaca.
