FFF Peruvian Carmelita

SuriBred (Female)Medium Brown
AOA# 802261DOB: 11/15/1996
Carmelita is a very nice Medium Brown female with a Grey face and excellent fleece coverage. She has dark pigmented skin showing up as black ears, feet, and a black nose. She gives birth easily and is a great mother with lots of milk. We purchased “Carmen” in the fall of 2003 specifically to breed her to our True Black Herdsire “Bonanza in Black’. On November 22, 2004, she gave birth to a very fine True Black male who we named “Suriland Cronan” (the Dark Swarthy one) who has excellent fleece coverage and locks. Cronan was selected as Reserve Color Champion as a Juvenile at the Midwest Alpaca Jamboree competing against yearlings and two year olds. As a yearling, Cronan was 1st in a class of eleven yearling black males judged by Dr Julio Sumar. Several of the males in this class were color champions from very large shows. Carmen is a proven producer of Black! In 2008 delivered a cria (Defiance's Peruvian Maggie) from our own Peruvian, part Accoyo Herdsire, Defiance, that is solid white with absolutely the finest, best luster and greasy feel of any cria born that year. This years cria born in April is a solid true black with no faded tips.

Description

Maggie is one of the best cria's of the 2008 crop. Her Dam produces excellent alpacas including show champions. Her Sire is 1/2 accoyo multi-color with Fawn-White and a Grey that is almost Lavender. This is a really nice little girl! Her mother produced a TB Reserve Champion for us and her dad comes from championship lines and had a 21 micron colored fleece at over a year of age. Not much better than that. She is growing nicely and her fleece just shines and shimmers with excellent small locks. Buy her now and show her in the Spring shows. With genetics that include 4Peruvian magnifico, PPeruvian ramilo and PPeruvian Atahuallpa who's fawn fleece was 23 microns as an adult how can you go wrong
