MFI Peruvian Legendary is an absolutely stunning light fawn male with the most incredible, buttery soft fleece that is a delight to touch. His fleece is awesome...dense with high-frequency, high-amplitude crimp. With his black skin, nails and dark gums, we expect this gorgeous herdsire to throw a wonderful array of colors. He has a true to alpaca phenotype and is one of those males who stops people in their tracks when they see him. His sire is PC Running Late, son of 6Peruvian Accoyo Titan. MFI Peruvian Legendary has a WOW in the genetic lineup: Accoyo 4Peruvian Legacy, Snowmass Millenium, Peruvian Dakotia, Peruvian Hemmingway, Peruvian Bueno and Peruvian Charmingway, 6Peruvian Accoyo Titan. That is enough for any breeder who wants the very best in their herd. We purchased Legendary at the 2008 Breeder's Choice Auction and he was the 2nd highest seller at the auction. SOLD...Congratulations to Stephanie and Ted Clark. They are the new caregivers for Pierre and True Black Aries. Pierre's Background is full of Black and Greys....He is 100% FULL PERUVIAN and HE'S PROVEN. Pierre brings outstanding Density and Fineness in his Fleece Production and Fiber. This year Pierre's blanket weight was (10) Ten pounds of Gorgeous Dark Brown Fiber with loads of grey all through it. And very little of the blanket was 2nd. Some would consider this male to be a Dark Rose Grey, however, he is registered as a dark brown. The fleece sample in the photo to the right does not show the nice crimp structure but he does possess it. And, his fleece is really Dense, he shears a wonderful blanket. And, for the grey fibers it has, his fleece is super soft. When you look at his yarn and the products made from it, the GREY fibers are really evident. The hats and gloves made from this male's fiber is extremely soft and very beautiful and the color is rich and vibrant. As far as Pierre for a Herdsire, he's a complete Gentleman and knows how to get the job done. He is the Sire to Pen Cuckoo's "AuLait" who is a absolute Beautiful light fawn female who now resides at another farm.
