Here he is, Aussie Bon Jovi, full brother to Aussie .38 Special and Aussie Guns-N-Roses. For anyone who's been paying attention at all, you already know his brothers are two of the best, most prepotent grey herdsires in the country. These are solid, well proven genetics. Both of Bon Jovi's parents, as well as his siblings and their offspring are known for their elite fleece characteristics. This includes holding their fineness as they age, beautiful consistent crimp over the entire blanket, great density, a lack of noticable guard hair, super brightness and extremely long staples. Bon Jovi has a solid, well proportioned frame, a perfect bite, and a ton of fleece! He sheared a full 12 pounds in 2013 and consistently gives us a 6 pound blanket. His 2014 EPD results have him in the top 1% for fleece length (understatement? He's listed #7 out of 16,828) as well as total fleece weight (29 out of 16,828)! Aussie Bon Jovi comes from a line of animals with a strong and healthy reproductive background. What's not to love about Roseberry? Besides her beautiful grey coloring, she is fine, dense, has nice conformation, and an easy going temperament. She's an excellent mom with a great reproductive history. Her first offspring, Razzberry, is a beautiful light silver grey multiple champion/blue ribbon winner in halter and fleece. Her second cria, our .38 Special daughter, Lady Antebellum, has incredibly crimpy, very fine and super soft dark brown fleece, that darkens further to a bay black at her extremities. Lady is a champion five times over. Roseberry gave us a beautiful rose grey daughter in 2013. Akasha's Shanti has just started her show career & so far it's looking great! October brought us a beautiful baby girl from Aussie Bon Jovi! At birth, she looked exactly like her big sis, Shanti, who looked brown at first but gradually turned more and more rose grey as she grew. We'll have to keep an eye on this new baby, Evanescence, to see what she does. Either way she's a beauty! Roseberry is heavy on the grey genetics.
