What can we tell you about this Sirius Black (serious, serious black) son? Wirrpunda has given us what we asked of him: multiple True Black offspring that exhibit the Suri phenotype we respect and seek. Wirrpunda has been used fairly heavily here at BBFAI. He has 31 offspring on the ground as of 2013 - all of them are dark! None are lighter than Medium Fawn, AND, 50% are Black or Gray! Wirrpunda is co-owned with Breakstone Ridge. After putting him to good use on our farms, we are now in the position that we will entertain selling all or partnership, leasing, or trading breedings. Though we all know and appreciate grandsire, MacGyver, Wirrpunda's dam side (Pucara Alicia) is rare and unrelated to most Suris in the country today (sire deceased). We are taking advantage of his unique pedigree and great phenotype at every opportunity.

Belle has been a truly consistent female at Bonsai Acres. She’s a bit on the nervous side, but is a great mom and has had no trouble. She’s True Black and beautiful, tall, elegant, and lustrous. If we would change anything, we would add density to her fleece and substance of bone. Belle is the dam of 3 beautiful intensely colored offspring: Phantom of the Ball - True Black Libby Belle - Dark Brown Sweet Dixie Belle - Medium Brown They are very nice intensely colored Suris with superior fiber attributes. We are proud of her production and does it with ease.
