Maple Brook Angelo deserves to be selected our top choice for Junior Herdsire of the year 2003. Angelo is the reward we received after five years of very careful planning in our breeding program to create the Alpaca for the next generation. Combining the genetics of two of the most recognized Accoyo herdsires in the country, Caligula and Felix, with the finest Allianza male in the U.S., Hemingway, we created Angelo all in one package.

RA GRACE

AOA# 802101DOB: 11/27/1997
Grace has been depreciated, and now you can do the same. We have a related male soon joining our herdsire row and have two award winning female offspring as well. Sale includes buyer's choice of herdsire service from our farm and more. Grace had choked when she arrived on our farm and has since been fed grain by herself without any problems. New owner must be able to do same at feeding time. Our family favorite! Grace can still produce quality crias and has plenty of milk for their growth. She has been maintaining her body score well, even for her age. Grace is a full Peruvian, 1/2 Accoyo foundation female. She has been a consistent producer of show quality breeding stock. When paired with The Portland Kidd, they produced RA Mr Pennsylvania. Mr Pennsylvania is a multiple color champion and multiple ribbon winner himself. Mr PA has also sired many championship offspring. Mr Pa is co-owned by Anthony Stachowski and Bud Griffith and commands a well deserved $5000 stud fee. She has also produced the ribbon winners Lacey Lou, Accoyo's Leonardo, Silvercloud Farms Peruvian DeAngelo (championship fiber award winner), and reserve color champion Celestine Ridge's Antoinette. Grace has an exceptional fleece for an older female and is passing that fineness on to her offspring. See the fleece and fiber awards of her offspring such as Silvercloud Farms Peruvian Deangelo. At 11.5 years of age her micron count is 24.8! Grace has helped nurse other crias as well. A trait that is highly desireable! Grace is sired by the full Accoyo Peruvian King. Peruvian King set a new auction record several years ago when he sold for $140,000. Peruvian King is deceased (a feed incident in 2003)so his bloodline is very limited. 10/06 BVDV PCR Negative RARE BLOODLINES!

Description

***SOLD to Storytime Alpacas, Hawarden, IA. Congrats to Matt, Shannon,Carrie, Andrew and children. DeAngelo couldn't be with better people! Plus the alpacas- he stands stud alongside Peruvian Courvoisier! He has started his breeding career in Iowa.*** Put your hands on this male and you will know what this industry is breeding for! DeAngelo is out of our 1/2 Accoyo, full Peruvian foundation female, RA Grace. Grace's sire is Accoyo Peruvian King who reigned as a top herdsire at Alpacas of America and Magical Farms. DeAngelo's sire is the multi champion, Maple Brook Angelo. Maple Brook Angelo is a full Peruvian, 1/2 Accoyo macho who is from the Accoyo Felix, Hemingway, and Accoyo Caligula lines. Just look at his ARI Certificate to see his increasingly rare genetics. DeAngelo has a bold crimp, bundling staples, nice handle and fine fleece. He has a micron count of 16.3 at 1 year of age! Look at his 4 yr micron and the lack of medullation there! His density is well above average. He has a low spread in AFD of secondary to primary fibers. Great brilliance too. These stats are confirmed by a skin follicle test done by Dr.Norm Evans. His bite and conformation are correct. 10/06 BVDV PCR Negative He has settled a few females for us and for other astute breeders. His first cria is an awesome female out of RA Martha. Her name is CRANC Carol Of The Bells. He tends to let the color in the female he is bred to come out. We would like to see what he will produce for you as well. We retain 3 breedings with this sale. Call for a thorough information packet on this male. A favorite of our farm visitors as he is an excellent PR male. See show history below. He has placed every time he has been shown.
