We are retiring, so Tuscan can be purchased with our breeding/show stock. See our package deal. Tuscan Gold has set a new standard of excellence. He is a complete package of perfect conformation, elite fleece characteristics with excellent bundling, brightness, crimp, and uniformity. The brightness of his fleece rivals suri luster. He has total coverage of this fleece from his spectacular head to his toes. And does he have presence! He just knows he is something special. When we check his sheared fleece in at the shows, it invariably gathers admirers and then further inquiry on which animal this fleece belongs to. This fleece has earned multiple championships and every specialty ribbon there is. He has maintained fineness well into his breeding years and is passing on this lasting fineness to his offspring. Tuscan stayed below 20 micron until he was 8 years of age when he was 20.0. And he passes this fineness on. For example, check out the histograms on sons Tuscan's Maestro, Tuscan's Semper Fi, Tuscan's Perfect Storm, all below 20 micron so far at 2 to 3 years of age. And uniformity is also in histogram mix. But a great herdsire is really measured by his offspring, and has Tuscan delivered! He stamps his babies with remarkable consistency for fine, well organized and crimpy fleece with his signature brightness on a beautifully balanced frame with good bone, extremely typey heads, complete leg coverage and his unmistakable presence. These babies have earned several Get of Sire awards for Tuscan Gold and several Breeders Best Three awards for Bella Vita Ranch. Our client list for Tuscan Gold offspring includes prestigious and discriminating farms such as Snowmass Alpacas, AL Pacas, Safe Haven Farm, Red Granite Ranch, Snow Diamond Alpacas and others. Judges have also bred to Tuscan Gold, so he has that stamp of approval from those who should know! Tuscan descends from the award winning MFI Brock line which has produced multiple champion Tuscan siblings. If you are looking to add presence, style, fabulous elite fleece with an incredible hand and extreme brightness, total body coverage, and great heads to your alpacas, Tuscan is your guy. Give us a call to discuss this great male who has proven his prepotency through his offspring. Not only is he improving fleece, but he is fixing conformation issues, hardest of the two to correct. If you like champion huacayas with that teddy bear-look and fabulous bright, fine fleece, that's what he delivers.

One of our best foundation females!

Sunset Hills Zeph's Zsa Zsamora

HuacayaBred (Female)White
AOA# 30016143DOB: 5/8/200618 yrs
Zsa Zsa comes from the award winning breeding program at Sunset Hills to join the ranks of our award winning program at Bella Vita. She is a full Peruvian, 3/4 Accoyo Zephyrus daughter and out of a Caligula daughter. Zsa Zsa is an extremely beautiful, upright, proud female with dense total fleece coverage, including full face coverage and generous top knot. Her bright white fleece boasts wonderful bundling and uniform crimp definition everywhere which explains why she has won blue ribbons, Reserve and Color Championships in halter and fleece shows. Bella Vita had the honor of winning both 1st and 2nd place ribbons at the 2008 Great Western show in the very competitive white yearling females with Zsa Zsa's fleece in first place and barn mate Nicolette taking 2nd place. Zsa Zsa is a proven dam, delivering her first cria unassisted on 9/30/08, a gorgeous medium fawn Tuscan Gold female cria and has had several cria to date, all stellar and all by Tuscan Gold. That cross just never misses. She has a stellar, yet-to-be-named 2015 light fawn female cria at side that comes with her in our retirement package.

Description

Wowie, what a stunner! Zsambuca is yet another stellar alpaca from the cross of Tuscan Gold on Zsa Zsamora. We never think about who else to breed Zsa Zsa to because this cross has been so excellent. I could expound on her pedigree, but you can open it up and see the excellent genetics that are Zsambuca's. She has extremely bright, well organized, fine and dense fleece on a nice sized, correct frame. She was a silky style huacaya, and this now has been sheared off with the incoming fleece having higher crimp and a hand that is to die for. Soft and buttery, it is bright and dense. When these silky styles get sheared, we anticipate an incredible transformation, and we have especially seen this in this cross of Tuscan and Zsa Zsa in Zsambuca's full sister, Toscana, sold for high dollars at a past AOBA auction, and in full brother, Top Gun. Her other full brother, Semper Fi, is a 4x champion and premier herdsire representing the next generation at Bella Vita. He boasts an AFD of 15.8, SD of 3.1, CV 19.1 and comfort factor of 100% at 3 years of age. Zsambuca's cria fleece has an AFD of 16.2, SD 4.0 and CV 24.8 with 100% comfort factor. On our farm, starting with these numbers usually means they will stay below 20 micron, or at last least not go over 21 micron for multiple years, perhaps for the life of the alpaca. Zsambuca went to her first show at the 2015 TxOlan and earned a 4th place ribbon. However, Judge Pena did not miss her silky style fleece and commented how he would love to see her back after this is sheared off and the second fleece comes in; He knows, just as we do, what happens to those beautiful silky fleeces once they are sheared off. This girl comes from proven genetics in multiple full siblings, and she is cut from the same mold. She will be a great foundation female for a farm breeding whites and lights desiring lingering fineness, excellent conformation and a beautiful overall look. She is included in our retirement herd and should bring home multiple ribbons before being old enough to start her breeding career. See our retirement package for details as you can acquire her at a lower cost in a bigger herd of alpacas known for forever fine fleece and a beautiful phenotype throughout the herd.
