Congratulations to Jennifer and Darrell Bost, of NorTex Alpacas, for their purchase of Snowmass Nova's Galaxy! “The Incredible Nova Son with Solid Conformation & Beautiful Fine Dense Fleece” Galaxy is a compact male with massive head and leg coverage, and solid bone. He has a perfect bite and nice temperament. He’s the perfect package with wonderful bone, density and structure. His baby photos grace the file of Snowmass Alpacas’ favorite faces file. His dam, Snowmass Chacasha, a ribbon winner herself, produces ribbon winners - Snowmass Simply Scrumptions Grand Color Champion 2008 IAO. Galaxy’s sire is none-other than Snowmass Nova out of Peruvian Casanova and Snowmass Drambuie’s Kaluha. Nova is one of Snowmass’ original black premier herdsires and is a producer of champions. If you are a looking for solid black genetics and proven history of superior lineage of fineness and a stud with extreme phenotype, Galaxy will be sure to please! His first crias were on the ground last spring and they are wonderful. We are excited to see he is throwing black! We are offering Galaxy only because we have so much Snowmass Nova in our herd and he is related to many other studs that we own. Galaxy fixes so many things plus adds type to any herd. Hurry to get your own Snowmass stud for your own herd! ****CONTACT [email protected] (Michelle Ing DVM for details)! SNOWMASS NOVA'S GALAXY... The epitome of true alpaca phenotype! GLORIA'S STAR Gloria was bred to multi-generational silver, NeverSummer's Magic Flight on 12/15/13. Her due date is in November 2014. Magic Flight recently received the Reserve Color Champion Fleece at the 2013 AOBA Nationals in a highly competitive group of greys. His score had tied with the CC and the tie-breaker was only a single point! When folks walked by Magic's juvie fleece in our display at Nationals it literally stopped them in their tracks! It is stunning. SO silver. Absolutely luminous. Long locks. I can't wait to spin it up! .... And check out his fiber stats. They've barely budged between his yearling and two-year old samples. His 2-year fleece statistics are: AFD 20.2, SD 3.6, CV 17.6, %>30u 1.0 Offspring: In 2002, Gloria had a true black male sired by Patagonia's Yukon. In 2003, Gloria had a true black male sired by Sinopsis Nocturna 527. In 2004, Gloria had a bay black male sired by Shepherd's Pasture Jericho. In 2005, Gloria had a true black female sired by Patagonia's Quijote. In 2006, Gloria had a white male, sired by Patagonia's Neruda. In 2007, Gloria gave birth to a beautiful dark brown female sired by Crescent Moon's Cesna. In 2010, Gloria gave us a good looking medium brown male sired by our Snowmass Nova's Galaxy. In 2012, Gloria presented us with a beautiful dark brown female out of our Patagonia's Ernesto.
