He produces Silky fleece on many of his crias. The crias that have been shown are ribbon winners in large white and fawn classes. The girls are all sold and Commander's Prodigy now resides, and is working, at WeeWalk Alpacas along with WeeWalk's "Rock Me Amadeus" and Wee Walks Full Moon Rise'n. Rise'n is now working on another farm. Commander has been private reserve and California's best kept secret until I could prove his worth by results. With over 20 cria on the ground and as may gestating, Commander delivers the bounty of his genetic package with a dash each of Macusani Peruvian and Allin Capac from his dam's line. He blends this with a huge scoop of Caligula, his sire, to produce a cria that has it all. Commander shares his lack of guard hair with his off-spring. Commander is genetically dominant to the breeding dam in all aspect but color. To date the breeding dam has controlled color right down to the spot. All of Commander's crias have exceptional conformation, crimp, royal baby fineness and knock you eyes out brightness. Commander's grandsire, Allin Capac, resides in Australia and is reported to be one of the dominant influences in forming the Australian herd. Allin Capac is reported to be sired by the legendary Shere Kahn and is also 1/2 brother to Vengador. Allin Capac holds a 25 micron count at 11 years of age he passed this on to Commander. Commander's offspring all live up to his families legend. He is the best and has unmatchable genetics. Commander is half brother to Aga Kahn, related by Dam, Miss Pristina, via Allin Capac. The Aga Kahn sold for $219K. MOON DANCING'S PEACHY KEEN Peachy Keen looks just like her sire Chaccu. Her coloring is in the vicuna pattern with darker on the back and lighter underbelly. She has superior handle to her fleece. Her Sire is 5 Peruvian Chaccu 9063, sire of Champions and renowned for his density. 5 Peruvian Chaccu, was the 2001 AOBA National Show Blue Ribbon winner in the Get of Sire Class. Chaccu was originally used extensively in the Snowmass Alpacas Breeding Program. Chaccu represents rare blood here in the US as he is from the Puno Region in Peru where very few genetics were released during the imports to the US. (Originally imported by Snowmass and later residing at Crescent Moon Ranch.) Offspring: On 7/18/05, Peachy Keen had Commander's Pi-Yay, a beautiful white female sired by Columbia River's Commander. On 11/8/06, Peachy Keen gave birth to Commander's Miracle, a lovely light fawn female also sired by Columbia River's Commander. Congratulations and thank you to Angelina Rice on her purchase of Commander's Pi-Yay! COMMANDER'S PI-YAY Pi-Yay is over 7/8 Peruvian and gorgeous. This little girl is very social and very special. SilverSmith, Peruvian King, Chaccu, Camillio-Accoyo Chimborazo, Allin Capac and Caligula (via Commander) are the big guys in her ancestry. Allin Capac is reported to be half brother to Vengador both being sired by the legendary Shere Kahn. Allin Capac is a major player in the Australian herds genetics. Count the Get of Sires in her background. Wow! Pi-Yay's Dam is Peachy Keen, a lovely peachy colored light fawn. Her maternal grandsire, 5 Peruvian Chaccu, was the 2001 AOBA National Show Blue Ribbon winner in the Get of Sire Class. Chaccu was originally used extensively in the Snowmass Alpacas Breeding Program. It is reported that accompanied by an experienced alpaca fiber educator, Mark was told you rarely find a true bright pure white alpaca fleece and then they opened up Pi-Yays fleece to reveal her exceptionally white, crimpy, bright, fine pencil locks. On 10/31/2013, Pi-Yay gave birth to a good-looking 16lb dark brown male also sired by Snowmass Andean Midnight.
