Congratulations to Steve & Casey Aitchison, of Epic Alpacas, on their purchase of Peruvian Apricot Brandy! PERUVIAN APRICOT BRANDY Brandy is a beautiful girl with a typey head, one of the best fleeces at 3 years old was 22.0 and a curvature of 49. Her last cria is a duplicate stamp of herself with wonderful crimp and character just like mom and the bay black herdsire, Aladdin of KPR, so we bred Brandy back to him. Aladdin, the same herdsire who boasts of his renowned father as being 5Peruvian Royal Inca Legend 9058. Aladdin himself received blues at the Great Western Alpaca Show in 2003 and 2004. He has at least one Grand Champion Son, taking the award at the Midwest Alpaca Jamboree, an International Show, with Julio Sumar judging. Dr. Sumar's comments: "The perfect black alpaca!" And a daughter out of Aladdin won Black Championships at AWE, MAPACA & GWAS, plus a Reserve at the Futurity 2005 show season! Brandy is currently bred to our Snowmass Rock Star XX, with to-die-for head coverage, fine, fine, fleece, and tremendous conformation. This stunning, compact jet true black, silky-soft male has excellent bone, wonderful disposition, and crimp all the way down to the tip of his tail. This true black with wonderful genetics brings fineness, not to mention his gorgeous body structure, to his offspring. Snowmass Rock Star XX. Rock Star's heritage includes Snowmass XXXtreme, Peruvian Legacy, and Snowmass Incan Myst XX. Rock Star received ribbons at Futurity and at GWAS in 2009. Her due date is 10/27/12.

Congratulations and thank you to Sunny Alpacas for their purchase of Snowmass Andean Midnight! SNOWMASS ANDEAN MIDNIGHT: "FINENESS in BLACK" Elite Ultra-Fine Blacks are hard to find! However, like many of our Snowmass studs, Andean Midnight has retained his Fineness, Brightness, and Handle with age! (Amanda VandenBosch valued him at $12K in 2019). Andean Midnight is a beautiful, compact True Black "Silky Soft" stud with an outstanding Royal Pedigree for fineness and should retain his fineness for years to come. Those who need to add proven genetics of fineness, brightness and handle will appreciate the Royal Blacks from Snowmass! He is one of their best! His fiber is incredibly soft and shiny with a silky look and feel. It has a uniform low amplitude high frequency style of crimp. You have to see it to believe it. His grandsire is none other than Andean Bronze, the sire of Royal Bronze – from Snowmass’ vicuna type alpacas who retain fineness under 20 microns after reaching maturity. CONFORMATION: GOOD BONE WITH EXCELLENT COVERAGE HANDSOME CORRECT WEDGED HEADPIECE DENSE TOPKNOT CORRECT BITE SUPERIOR ROYAL “Vicuna” Lineage: Snowmass Andean Night is a brother to Snowmass Royal Bronze (throws true blacks) and Snowmass Royal Flush (throws silver grays like Silver Signature). Snowmass Andean Midnight offers proven genetics of brightness and handle. This beautiful, compact, jet true black, silky-soft male holds an outstanding pedigree for fineness.
