First Lady comes with the strong color genetics and maternal traits that go along with her Chilean pedigree. She is a good natured female, balanced conformation, quiet disposition, as well as a correct bite. One of First Lady's crias was a true black out of a fawn herdsire. In 2010, First Lady had a beautiful black female cria, sired by none other than Snowmass Andean Midnight, whose crias have luster, fineness, and unique character on top of his excellent true black genetic package of brightness and handle. Snowmass Andean Midnight is a beautiful, compact jet true black, silky-soft male who holds an outstanding pedigree for fineness. His fiber has a uniform low amplitude high frequency style of crimp. His grandsire is Andean Bronze, the sire of Royal Bronze - from Snowmass' vicuna type alpaca retaining fineness under 20 microns after reaching maturity. In the show ring, Andean was awarded 1st place in AOBA, 2008; 1st place and Reserve Color Champion at IAO, 2007; 2nd place at Futurity, 2007. On May 27, 2012, First Lady had a lovely female cria out our Snowmass Rock Star XX. Rock Star, a true black with wonderful genetics brings fineness, not to mention his gorgeous body structure, to his offspring. Rock Star's heritage includes Snowmass XXXtreme, Peruvian Legacy, and Snowmass Incan Myst XX. Rock Star received ribbons at Futurity and at GWAS in 2009.
