We are proud to introduce SBS Crown Prince Rothchild as one of our newest herdsires. What makes Roth so special is that he in not White, but Dark Fawn in color. Most of our Crown Royale Herdsires are white because they were bred to white. But we decided to breed CR to Sweet Suri Mahogany Rose who is dark brown to see if we could get color. And we did. Mahogany Rose is out of Mahogony Prince and our famous Miriam's Rose. So there is plenty of dark color in his background. Not only is he dark fawn but he has the famous Crown Royale locks, luster, and density. So the chances of getting colored cria with all the attributes of CR are very good. We have bred Roth to two of our best females and can't wait till this Fall to see the results. SBS Crown Prince Rothchild is co-owned with Carol and John Furman of Carrageen Alpacas in Gray, Maine.
