I just fell in love with Sicario the 1st time I saw him. After 24 years in the alpaca business I am not easily taken in, but he just took my breath away. At 7 months old he looked like he was sitting in a cascading puddle of silky fleece and he had the most adorable face I'd ever seen. I was smitten. Sicario put most of his energy into his fleece his 1st 2 years but continued to be successful in the show ring , and now is a big strapping guy and breeding successfully. Sicario's crias are on the ground now and they are gorgeous! Silky, high luster, with dad's gorgeous head style and straight build. So far they have followed the dam's color-- from light fawn to true black. I'm excited to announce that Rogue Alpacas has bought a 50% interest in Sicario! I'm proud to call them friends and partners on 2 fabulous studs now. Sicario is spending the summer at Rogue Alpacas in Medford, OR.

Picasso's Petra of EA is a lovely girl! When I first touched her, I was thrilled to feel her fine, slick, silky fleece. And she is a sweet-tempered female who is easy to handle even when she is pregnant. Her sire is the famous GLR Picasso, 5X champion and sire of many champion offspring. Petra's owner had health problems when she was young, so she never got to show, but she is a true daughter of her famous daddy! Her dam was Zambesi's Katerina, a black female with amazingly fine fleece for her color and her generation. Zambesi was a spectacular fawn male who passed his fineness and luster to all his offspring. Petra did well bred to RGSA Sicario.. Sicario comes from suri royalty all around. His mom is Lacey, Goldstar's full sister. Dad is Bronson, a bloodline cross of Great Lakes legendary black herd sires, Cinders and Shavano. Sicario took my breath away as a juvenile-- I just had to add him to my breeding program. He carries fawn, brown and black in his pedigree-- what a lot of color!. Petra just gave birth this summer to a gorgeous True Black baby GIRL by RGSA Sicario! This baby will be flashy and show-worthy. Look for her listing as AWH Blackstrap Molasses by Sicario.
