**Update Summer 2024 - Resolute's (aka "Lute") first crias have hit the ground and WOW. Stunning females in his image! We can't wait for more like this! Looking to add diversity to our herd, this male caught my attention for several reasons. First, well, just look at him – he is the complete package. Curb appeal, style, true-to-type Huacaya, and has the presence you want in a macho male. Look a little deeper and the second reason appears – he has all the traits you want in your breeding program – strong and correct frame and conformation, full coverage on the frame with fleece that is bright, fine, and dense – and it has the expected architecture to match – consistent and uniform throughout the blanket, neck, and legs. He checks all the boxes here. Lastly, his ARI reveals that he also has the ancestry to back him up – he is power packed on both his dam and sire side. This male isn’t a fluke. We have enjoyed watching this young male mature and can’t wait to see what he will bring to our program in the future. Resolute is proudly co-owned with Oak Crest Alpacas.

Grey and black genetics galore!

AOA# 35536208DOB: 8/31/20204 yrs
**Update July 2024: It's a stunning dark fawn/light brown (not sure of color yet) for Monday and Resolute! At over 19#, this is a hearty little girl and looks stamped in the image of her champion sire. Yay! When Monday arrived on our farm as a young yearling, we could tell that she would fit right in – strong boned, correct in frame, true-to-type Huacaya head style, rich consistent color in her fiber (which was also soft, fine, uniform, AND had architecture – outstanding for a black!). Yep – she had the makings of a true foundation female! Don’t be shy – look at her ARI and see the notable dams and sires stacked up within her ancestry. This girl is loaded with color and top seed stock genetics! Her first offspring (appropriately named Tequila Tuesday!) is on the ground and he will be transitioned to our jr herdsire row unless he sells as soon as he is old enough. Monday is bred to LibertyAlpacas Manifest Resolute for a 2024 offspring. Lining up these championship genetics for next generation will be incredible regardless of male or female offspring!

Description

Wednedsay, as this pretty little girl is know around the farm, is one of the sweetest alpacas. Keeping in the naming theme of her dam (Monday) and her older brother (Taco Tuesday), we had to get creative with her official name since the registry seemed to not like the name “Wednesday” for some odd reason. Blessed with a fabulous frame and equally impressive fiber traits from her magnificent sire, LibertyAlpacas Manifest Resolute, Wednesday is one of the females that is destined to go straight to the foundation herd. While she holds her own in the large classes of fawn females, we know that she show scene isn’t where she will excel – it will be in producing next generation of offspring in just about any color. When almost 30% of the ancestry listed on her ARI are grey, breeding her to grey is a very certainly in her future.
