19 Time Halter Champion in True Black! 2012 has been good to Jacob Black. Every show he went to, he was the Color Champion, and it didn't matter if it was the Futurity or Nationals. He finished 2012 with a stellar 19 halter champion banners! Jacob Black has great conformation, a beautiful fleece, and a handsome head. His true black fleece is extremely uniform with a very expressive crimp style found normally on white animals. His personality is laid back and gentle. Jacob Black started showing when he was 9 months old, and since that time, he bannered in every show he went to, with the exception of a blue ribbon at the Futurity when he was 10 months old. Jacob is not available to outside breedings. He will be an exclusive, restricted herdsire for our black program, and he will join 15 time champion Knight Rider in producting show winning blacks. Update: Jacob Black wins Reserve Dark Herdsire at the 2015 Futurity and the 2016 Futurity! That is a fabulous achievement! Update: Jacob Black's crias are outstanding, and many of them are already champions themselves!

We are anxiously awaiting this cria. Jacob has been bred twice to classic greys, and both times he threw a classic grey. So................will he do it a third time? We will soon find out! His other two classic greys are both championship material. One has already bannered twice as a juvi, and the other is just a few days old. We expect great quality again from this pairing, as Jacob's crias are all very nice, and all are very fine. His first cria crop produced 3 with 15 micron fleeces, 2 true black and one dark rose grey. We are thrilled with that! No wonder they are doing fantastic in the show ring.
