After 5 years of quietly pestering our friends at Alpagas Chelsea, they finally agreed to sell their incredible female, A Wanted Man’s Moka of Chelsea, to us! We were impressed by Moka when we first laid eyes on her just shy of 6 months old at her first show. Being a mid-October baby, she was standing proud right next to a 2-year-old white Snowmass Matrix daughter when it came to the judge, Peter Kennedy, to pick the Supreme Champion female. These 2 females were his contenders. She championed at every show where there were enough entries for a championship, both in halter & fleece. She unfortunately wasn’t shown as a yearling due to the Covid pandemic. Moka sits on a big and solid frame. She has a beautiful head profile with the right angles which allowed her to be awarded “Best Head”. Her fleece is dense and well-organised, very similar to her paternal siblings’ also a part of our breeding program. She carries character that is consistent in its architecture throughout her whole blanket. Descending from unique and somewhat limited bloodlines in Canada, Moka’s sire is A Wanted Man. A Wanted Man has done incredibly well in the showings with a Judge’s Choice & multiple Championships (including at the Futurity) titles to his name. We are incredibly grateful to have into our herd 3 of his offsprings sired in Canada before his departure to Europe: Moka, Miss Saigon & 3x Supreme Champion Zephyr. Her dam is Arriba Diamond, AOBA Nationals Black Female Reserve Champion. Diamond also produced 4x Champion Aero’s Myka – Zephyr’s dam. Her pedigree consists of the best in colour! With her calm personality, she is fitting in perfectly into our foundation herd, and I have no doubt she will be an exceptional producer when paired to the right herdsires.
