Looking for appaloosa genetics that won’t compromise quality? Look no further than Chimbote from MaRS! 4th Generation Appaloosa! Stunning fleece with uniform crimp across all color spots. Exceptional staple length. Notable density, especially at a young age. Excellent fiber coverage. Chimbote has a handsome, compact phenotype-- straight front and rear, with heavy bone, perfect bite and a pleasing head style. We have followed Chimbote's genetics for years as his GDam- MaRS Dixie, is the closest appaloosa descendant to LF Del a Burl, the handsome appaloosa male that was exported to Germany. With his departure, these genetics were limited to just two females in the United States-- one of which is MaRS Dixie. Dixie threw Chimbote's sire, the handsome appaloosa stud, MaRS Whaoo. For the first time, these genetics have been made available through the Wahoo offspring. Wahoo is 7 for 7 producing appaloosa and GG-Sire, Burl, in Germany has produced 50+ cria-- the majority of which are appaloosa and/or patterned. This is a very prepotent line for throwing elite-fleeced appaloosas. Chimbote's dam, Liberator's Faith, is a lovely beige female with Snowmass genetics on the top. We are very excited to announce that Chimbote has settled his first ladies and is a natural. His first offspring will hit the ground in 2024. Meet FDA Warrior’s Georgia— At 7 years old, Georgia is a proud and robust alpaca, standing out with her impressive build and easy-going temperament. Weighing in at a healthy 184 pounds, she’s an easy keeper with a striking presence. Georgia’s distinctive head style, full leg coverage, and her unique double dilute, double black allele genotype make her an ideal candidate for a color-focused or Appaloosa/harlequin breeding program. Though she may be a bit shy at first, Georgia’s curiosity and gentle nature shine through once she’s on her lead, making her easy to handle. Her excellent maternal instincts and strong milk production have made her an exceptional mother, consistently delivering unassisted. Her most recent cria is a handsome male with a dark brown base coat adorned with black dappling and spots—a true testament to Georgia’s pattern potential. Her most recent cria, Rare Gem Thankful Eve, is a stunning leopard Appaloosa female born on Thanksgiving Eve. With her rare coloration, spots from nose-to-toes, and already exhibiting advanced fleece characteristics, Eve is a shining example of Georgia's pattern potential and her ability to produce high-caliber offspring. Owned by Flying Dutchman Alpacas, Georgia is the product of decades of purposeful breeding. Her pedigree is truly exceptional, with Rembrandt by El Nino on the top side and Skywalker by Poseidon of FDA on the bottom. We look forward to many more truly exceptional offsrping from Georgia!
