“Manifest Destiny” In the alpaca world, that means an outstanding pedigree that translates into outstanding heritable traits (EPDs) and progeny. Little Providence Josefs Ephraim embodies “Manifest Destiny”—he is a son of the incredible Big Timber Kahuna’s Josef, and his dam is a champion with enviable bloodlines. Both sire and dam have outstanding EPDs, so why shouldn’t Ephraim have EPDs in the top 1% to 15% in EVERY category? And why shouldn’t he have multiple Color Championships in both Walking Fleece AND Halter? …And why wouldn't you want him to pass these heritable traits on to your herd??!! Density, fineness, locking and luster! This male has it all, and has the capacity to pass these traits on to his progeny. Ephraim sire is the incredible Big Timber Josef, who has countless championships and champion crias. Josef is a son of the almost legendary Pucara Kahuna: for many years the star of the famed Pucara herdsire lineup. Ephraim's dam is also a champion out of multi champion Accoyo Chaska and brings in genetics from Apache II , Uribe, Bruxo, and Mallory Jane. Take a look at Ephraim's show record--he has excelled in BOTH walking fleece and halter categories, with several championships in each! He clearly has an all-star profile that you want represented in your herd! To inquire about purchasing a breeding, please reach out to our partners, Alpacas of El Dorado and Little Providence Alpacas. 2025 will be the year we have progeny available for purchase! We have 3 babies due late summer this year.

Back 40's Rodeo

SuriOpen (Female)Medium Fawn
AOA# 36214945DOB: 9/26/20195 yrs
Rodeo will be sold as a nonbreeder....she does not do well with her temperament while pregnant and has abandoned both her beautiful cria Rodeo is one of my favorite handfuls. She is ALWAYS front and center when people arrive or if you are delivering fresh hay to the paddocks. She loves to dance and do acrobatics with pure delight. She lives up to her name sometimes as it can be quite the rodeo trying to catch her, but once you do have her, she settles down. Her genetics are top of the line with Mega champions on both her dam and sire. She has the potential of have any color cria, as there are greys, TB, White and fawns in her lineage. Her cria, Simply Elegant has thousands of pencil locks, tightly twisted, hiding the incredible luster once they are opened up. Ellie will start showing this summer in fleece and then in the fall in halter.

Description

Nov 2024 well...what do I say about Ellie....... Ellie was abandoned at birth by her mother Rodeo. I gave Rodeo a pass because at 400 gestation, she had developed horrible mastitis and simply did NOT want to nurse. So Ellie became mine.... As a bottle baby, she found her independence as an alpaca....but is completely bonded with me....She has become an incredibly sweet soul, loves people and the spotlight...she is my go-to girl for walks, photoshoots, birthday parties, etc................. Her fiber - Ellie is dense and has very nice organization to her locks...They are medium sized locks and twist from skin to tip. The one thing I would hope for would be a higher luster...Now shorn after 15months of growth left on for show, and you can def see and nice brightness.... I look forward to her continuing to mature and eventually will find her the perfect boyfriend!
