Brander is a nice young male with very fine soft fleece that shows lots of luster and nice locks. He is a large male with good conformation and regrowth. The great genetics from both sides shows. He is gentle but not as outgoing as his dame, Marshmallow. He is named after a good friend of Pete, who is a legendary fisherman/diver in his home town of Santa Barbara. Brander sired his first cria, Bridget in 2021, followed by Otis and Ludwig in June 2024.

Jillian is one of our favorite foundation females. Having provided us with two fine cria so far, Slate a light silver gray and Clint a true black, we are sure she will provide many more. She is an easy birther, has great milk and is a very attentive mother. For a black, her fleece is fine, uniform and has nice luster. Just as important, she has a wonderful temperament, gentle, calm and just easy going. We have found that this is a trait that is pasted on; nasty dame, nasty cria. We strive to breed friendly alpacas and Jillian certainly fits our breeding model.
