Blue Blood wins back 2 back Grand Champions and Supreme at the double Shows April 5th - 8th 2024. We watched this boy mature into a stellar Macho, and realized early his full potential to become an elite Male in progressing our breeding program. We will be retaining him in our breeding program if his full brother Style Bender finds a new home. We are offering 2 drive by breedings with an over night stay for the 2024 season. UPDATE: Laurel Shouvlin recognized the great quality of Blue Blood and awarded him the Grand Champion and serious consideration for Supreme at the Fall Majestic show Oct 21-22, 2023. Blue Blood is phenotypical perfection, with a soft highly defined, extremely long fleece, that is consistent in style across the body and up the neck. This is what we expected when pairing these 2 great alpacas together. Blue blood is a prime example of our advancement of producing great neck fibre. His Sire Over The Top is a very prepotent Macho like his Dad Foundation and has won his first 3 GET of Sires entered, with 6 different offspring, that's pretty awesome, considering the amount of progeny he has on the ground. Blue Blood was the only Offspring that was in all 3 GET's for him. His potential to make advancement in all color breeding programs is limitless. We have decided to retire Shamazing, her 2024 girl will be her last cria. BL Shamazing Is our best female from EC Shamar and she did really well in the showring but was always a brides maid to Birchleaf Foundations Zena. Her fleece is very bright and she passes that trait onto her cria. Her Dam Glitter is now on the USA at Salt Creek Alpacas and has produced some extraordinary offspring including 7 time Champion Birchleaf Fawntastic who never placed lower than Res. Champion. We also have her multi Champion fawn son BL Over The Top, who is proving to be an Impact Sire, producing multi Champions and I all colors. His Dark Steel Grey son out of BL Foundations Kanita (Brown) Is winning Championships in both showring and fleece and his other grey male Birchleaf instigator (modern rose grey -1 yr. younger) Has won many Championships including Res.
