THIS GUY IS SO COOL! WAHOO! from MaRS is everything you could want when adding appaloosa genetics to your herd. There's no compromising quality with this guy! INCREDIBLE CHARACTER TO HIS FLEECE EXCEPTIONAL STAPLE LENGTH EXTREME FINENESS UNIFORMITY Check out his fiber stats, they certainly don't disappoint! He was entered into the spring 2020 shows, but this thing called COVID-19 happened. His cria fleece did very well at our local events. Wahoo's first progeny are on the ground and we're seeing spots, lots of spots! He was bred to seven white/beige females on our farm and all seven delivered appaloosa crias. What a great start! Keep your eyes on this guy! We are limiting the number of outside breedings to Wahoo. We have several females that are currently bred to him that are available or will be in the near future.

Excellent Producer!

Bristol of MaRs

HuacayaBred (Female)White, Light Fawn
AOA# 35566670DOB: 8/19/20195 yrs
Bristol from MaRS is the first offspring of AspenAlpacas Highpoint, and she is a breathtaking beauty! Bristol’s fleece is incredibly bright and has a consistent high-frequency crimp across the entire blanket. It also boasts an impressive staple length and excellent coverage. Her density is notable as well. She has a well-balanced, square, and compact frame with correct conformation and heavy bone. Her bite is also correct, and her head style is pleasing. Bristol has produced incredible results when bred to Wahoo from MaRS, and as a result, Alpacas from MaRS have repeated the breeding for a third time, with the expected arrival of a cria in August 2024. Now, we at Talen Ranch are excited to have Bristol on our farm and cannot wait to see what she and Wahoo bring to us this summer! Stay tuned for more updates!

Description

This lovely female cria finally has a name after much careful thought. Let me tell you, I take naming seriously – just ask anyone who knows me! Even my children and close friends will confirm that. Haha. Her sire is an appaloosa, and her dam is beige. The unexpected white color of the cria has really made me think about all the possibilities. I can't wait to see what her future offspring will be like and how genotyping results will help us choose the perfect mate to achieve our goals. It's definitely going to be an interesting journey! Her name? Bristol’s Blank Canvas!
