With an illustrious lineage boasting elite light fleece, Ready to Rock inherits exceptional genetics. His dam, MFI Peruvian Cradle Rocker, descends from Snowmass Millenium, renowned for producing dense white fleece. Ultima stands as a game-changing addition to our breeding program, embodying our 2022 theme of "genetic diversity." In our pursuit to enrich our foundation females, Ultima emerged as a remarkable find, boasting not only a striking head and robust square frame but also an exceptionally dense fleece—a quality we hold in high esteem. Her fleece exhibits admirable fineness and uniformity, elegantly arranged in a well-structured staple. In the shearing of 2023, Ultima yielded an impressive 5.8 pounds of blanket fiber, a testament to her exceptional fleece production. Her prowess didn't go unnoticed in the show ring, where she swiftly amassed an impressive collection of blue and lavender ribbons. We eagerly anticipate the contribution Ultima will make to our program as we explore breeding possibilities with our studs in the future.
