BlueGenes' Henry Higgins

Henry Higgins fleece is especially fine and dense with tight crimp and has maintained those qualities. Spinners love the hand of his fleece (see below) and it makes a gorgeous dark gray yarn. He has excellent conformation and is easy to handle. If you have a female in need of fineness and density, this is the guy! Here are a few comments from spin-off judges: "Spun beautifully!" "A lot of very fine crinkle" "Silky, light & bouncy. Very nice!" "Great lustre!" "Light, but dense, soft with a lot of body." Henry Higgins 2006 Histogram: Micron 21.2; SD: 4.3; CV 20.4; CF 95.3 Henry’s sire, Royal Reggae, was the 2001 MAPACA Jubilee black yearling blue ribbon winner and reserve color champion. Henry’s 1/2 sister, Amelia Bedellia is a champion color banner and multiple blue-ribbon winner. His first 2 offspring are females and Henry allows the dam's characteristics to pass on to the cria. Loverly is super fine (like her dam), but resembles Henry. Night Light has her dam's typey head and size and her grandfather's (Dark Shaddow) color. Give Henry the opportunity to add fresh, new, champion genetics to your herd, as well as blue-ribbon fleece. Given the economy, his breeding fee will not rise and we will discount for drive-bys, ribbon winners, or mobile breeding. If you're interested in purchasing him, we will retain breedings, but please call for details.

BlueGenes' Abracadabra

HuacayaOpen (Female)True Black
AOA# 1078855DOB: 11/16/200519 yrs
Abracadabra, our true black female out of AABC Navigator and our own Ameripaca's Jonquil (Inca Legend line), delivered her first cria on the exact day she was due! Her silver gray female x Brinx, BlueGenes' Licketty Split, was sold to Alpaca Annuals in Colorado. In her juvie show carrier, she received a series of first and second place ribbons to grays who went on to win championships. Abby's second offspring with Brinx, Gypsy, has the same fabulous fleece characteristics and her third cria, again with Brinx, is a modern rose gray who shows the same fleece characteristics - density, fineness and tight crimp architecture. Abby's offspring are consistent in the quality of their fiber, their conformation and coverage. Strong, proven blood lines producing show winning offspring with outstanding fleece, is what we all want from a foundation female.
