AOA# 31646451DOB: 9/10/200915 yrs
Our two farms, Rancho Inca Alpacas and Xanadu Farm Alpacas, are delighted that TGF Royal Tribute, of one of the truly elite herdsires in the US, has been chosen as the GWAS Raffle Herdsire for 2015. Tribute’s pedigree is about as good as it gets and is not well represented in the western part of the United States. His fawn sire, Snowmass Royal Challenger, was selected as the huacaya ARF Raffle Herdsire at the AOBA Nationals in 2014. Royal Challenger had an exceptional show career including color champion at the AAA Futurity. Tribute’s mom, Snowmass Adora Bella, an Accoyocusani daughter, is one of the top-producing dams ever turned out by Snowmass Alpacas. As he’s matured into a macho, Tribute’s fleece has held its fineness and uniformity, a true test of quality. At 4th shear, and after 2 years of breeding, he’s at 20.7 mic, 3.9 SD, 18.8 CV & 97.8 comfort factor. His crias are carrying on his elite quality. At Xanadu Farm, our first small crop of crias produced 3 blue ribbon winners, with 2 color champions. Take a close look at him on “Herdsire Row” then stop by Xanadu Farm’s stalls to check out some of his kids and to imagine what he can do for your breeding program. Tribute will be standing at Xanadu Farm in Colorado through December 15th and then at Rancho Inca in Navasota, Texas until mid-April. You can use your breeding at either farm. Carnelian is the daughter of the true-black Herdsire, Canzelle's Zambezi. She has her famous sire's "look"... very upright, solid, and lots of presence. Her color is a rich, reddish-brown, like the beautiful semiprecious gem after which she is named. Her fleece is extremely dense, bright, and soft-handling. Through her Dam, "Nellie" is a Victor granddaughter, and a Hemingway great-granddaughter. On Zambezi's side, she has deep high-quality black and gray genetics...Drake is her grandsire, and Danko and Sinopsis Nocturna are both her great-grandsires. Carnelian has had 4 outstanding and show-quality crias to date. A Fawn girl with GreyBeard, a White male with Principio, a Maroon male with Neruda, and a Maroon girl with our TGF Drifter!! Carnelian has been bred to the 2011 NAAS FAWN MALE CHAMPION, TGF Royal Tribute and is due June 2013. Tribute is a son of snowmass Royal Challenger. Challenger is a son of Snowmass Royal Rose. And Rose is a son of Peruvian Hemingway. You get it this is a strong pre-potent line! Plus throw in the mix that Carnelian's great grand-father was Peruvian Hemingway. This cria should be stunning!! Service Sire: Snowmass Shogun's Sunset XX

Accoyo America and Snowmass lines

Snowmass Shogun's Sunset XX

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Beige
AOA# 36090143DOB: 9/26/20195 yrs
Shogun’s Sunset is a cross between Accoyo America and Snowmass lines. On the top he has Accoyo America Shogun, a Legacy son, as a grandsire. Shogun was the sire of National Champion Kingfish and when I looked at Shogun’s offspring I noted that we have retained many of the females in our breeding program here at Little CreekFarm Alpacas in North Salem. We go to this line at Accoyo America for staple length, fleece weight/density without sacrificing style or fineness. I imagine that is why Julie Skinner purchased Sunset’s sire, Shogun’s Samurai, to not only improve staple length in the Snowmass herd but to introduce genetic diversity with a complementary fleece style while doing so. On the bottom of Shogun’s Sunset’s pedigree is Legendary Sunshine, a fawn Elite Legend daughter. Legendary Sunshine gets high marks for fineness and uniformity, and my shearing notes say that she maintained a grade 1 fleece as a six year old in 2021. Shogun’s Sunset comments from shearing were for fleece “excellent overall-sale or use”. As you can imagine being pegged as an animal to “use” in the Snowmass breeding program is a designation that most males here won’t ever reach. His conformation notes say that his is square and correct. My only negative notation is that he has lost some facial coverage. 2020 Histogram: 16.6/3.9/23.7/1.0 curv. 65.0 2021 Histogram: 18.4/4.0/21.6/1.0 curv. 53.8 EPD's are in Top 5% Genotype is: ee Aa Introductory breeding fee includes full boarding (60 days) $1250
