Branson continues to be an impact male for us. Numerous offspring have done extremely well in the showing for us and it is difficult for us to hang on to them. ______________________________ **Branson's first offspring have hit the ground and WOW! If you are keeping score, yes, he has sired his first Color Champion offspring - Charming CiCi, now owned by a farm on the West Coast! And the stunning offspring just keep on coming! Fawn males and females are abundant! SCORE!!!! We LOVE this guy! _______________________________ Introducing Arriba Branson - an amazing multiple Grand Champion from Canada! Following in the footsteps of his 7x Champion sire, TnC Arrowsmithsonian, and a dam, Arriba Brianna, who has her own championship credentials, Branson stands up to the competition because he IS the complete package. Branson has a solid, robust, and correct frame that is covered with an abundance of gleamingly soft and crimpy fiber. He has a gorgeous head, excellent conformation, and solid bones. His fleece is extremely fine and uniform. He has been granted his Grand Championships in both halter and fleece categories against extremely tough competition. The traits passed on from his ancestors are were specifically sought out for our next generations - Branson has them and his championships are a testament to the judge's recognition of this. A huge thank you to Arriba Linea for letting Branson join our program! We are so excited to have him here as part of Salt Creek!

**Update Aug 2024 - ultrasound confirmed no cria for this year. Looks like Charmer gets the year off! **Update Fall 2023 - Another stunning female cria for 2023! AWESOME! We LOVE these female offspring from Charmer! Lucky us!!! Charmer has also been rebred to Resolute for a Sept 2024 offspring - Nov 2023 confirmed via ultrasound. **Update Aug 2022 - Charmer is bred to Creedence for a 2023 offspring. Surprise! **Update July 2021 - it's another replica of CiCi - but a bouncing baby brother who looks just as awesome! SCORE! **Update Aug 2020 - CiCi, Charmer's 2020 cria, is nothing short of awesome. We have bred Charmer back to Branson for a 2021 offspring. Why mess with perfection? **Update June 2020 - a stunning medium fawn female for Charmer x Branson! This dam just loves to give us female offspring! Score! We can't wait to see how this 19# cria develops! ______________________________ It isn't often that you find a cross of Victor's HemiAccoyo Casanova x Lancaster. And when you do, you certainly don't just pass it up. Esp when you understand the power of the genetics here. The fleece on this girl is amazingly fine, yet so, so dense. It fools us until we shear it - it come off so bright and slick that it almost seems like it is wet. It is so fine that we have to also be careful that it is cria-like in that everything wants to stick to it (like cria velcro) yet, when we weigh the shearing, it is an amazing weight - the density is just incredible! Charmer is a girl that holds some amazing genetics. We have paired her up with a multi-champion champion fawn Canadian import, Branson, to add density and more structure to her ultra-fine fiber. With her sire ancestry, this ideal matchup should be stunning. Charmer is co-owned with Oak Crest Alpacas in Downs, IL.

Description

It is true - incredible price just because we have these genetics AND we cannot keep them all. This large boned male is known as "LP" on the farm. This male has a full sibling who was a Color Champion (CiCi) at the age of 9 months. He is a carbon copy of her. He has the same exact long fine staples, which becomes deceiving when you still have a shearing weight of over 5#. Take a close look at his pedigree and you will see it is lined with notable names which back his ancestry and give him his strong presence, frame, and fiber traits. LP would make a fantastic herd sire to a farm needing to improve bone/frame, and add in some fineness and staple length to the next generations.
