We are so happy to have Red Pine to Honey Maple Farms! This boy is gorgeous! He is multi-colored, and now that he has been shorn, the colors are standing out! He has a mostly solid dark rose grey blanket, a light underbelly and various shades of fawn, with a little white, on his legs! His head and neck are showing various shades of grey. The potential for producing grey, appy, multi...just about anything...with this guy is unbelievable!! Top it off with a gentle disposition, soft, lustrous fleece and a regal stance...no wonder we love to just admire him!! He has a nice histogram for 2020 as well! Check out his updated pics! Multi-colors are really standing out (January 2021.) He is just beautiful!! UPDATE--MAY 2021 WOW! Did Red Pine ever turn some heads at the MAPACA Show! In the halter shows, he carried himself with the confidence of a winner--head held high and strutting his stuff! The fleece judge was just amazed at the luster this boy has. She kept commenting that she never would have guessed he would have that kind of luster underneath his fleece. We had some really nice comments about his beautiful and unique coloring from many folks who came to see him and snap a few pictures. Turns out he is fairly photogenic too! Red Pine has a couple pregnancies under way for 2024. We just love this boy and can't wait to see his crias!!
