A Wanted Man’s Zephyr is our #1 pick for improving density & fleece weight on our coloured females. Zephyr is the best male sired by A Wanted Man in North America before his departure to Europe. With his genetics somewhat limited, he is unrelated to most bloodlines in Canada. He would be able to cross virtually any females in our herd that are not his paternal sisters (Miss Saigon & Moka) or their offsprings. His sire, Majestic Meadow’s A Wanted Man, is a Judge’s Choice & multi-champion son of multi “Herdsire of the Year” winner Jeremiah’s Peruvian Jumanji. A Wanted Man is the grandson of Futurity Champion & also “Herdsire of the Year”, Crystal Spartan. On Zephyr’s maternal line, his dam is 4x Champion Aero’s Myka of Chelsea whose dam was AOBA National Black Reserve Champion, and her sire collected 4 Supreme/Judge’s Choice awards & 9 Championships. Descending from generations of award-winning alpacas on both sides proving that Zephyr’s quality is no fluke. His fleece blew me away! It combines desirable traits for the fiber industry with an impressive fleece weight, high degree of organisation that is uniform throughout his blanket, soft hand and a superior level of density. These traits allowed Zephyr to collect numerous awards including “Alpaca Canada Fleece of the Year”, 3 Supreme Champion & “Best Crimp”. His 2021 & 2022 fleeces scored above 90/100 in fleece shows under some of the most respected judges in this industry: Arturo Pena & Cheryl Gehly. Miss Auceanie du DNA embodies what we strive to achieve in our breeding program. She represents our new generation of females. Described as having an ideal phenotype, Auceanie sports a perfect headstyle. She is balanced in her proportions with great movements and size. Her fleece has advanced architecture from skin to tip, extreme brightness and uniformity which resulted in low SD & CV numbers. The character in her fleece is consistent across her frame all the way down to her belly. She shears annually one of the heaviest blankets within our group of production females. Auceanie’s dam is Lady Adrenaline du DNA, one of our best producers. Her sire is Averegan’s Magnus, 2x Supreme & 6x Champion. Adrenaline and Magnus produced Noble Atlantik du DNA & Noble Aucean Breeze du DNA, respectively Champions in Grey and Fawn. During her showing career, Auceanie had great performances, being the combined Reserve Champion White at the Rockton World Fair 2022, beating all the males. At the Alpaga Québec 2023 Show, she secured a solid 2nd place in a class of 10 behind her now pen-mate, 8x Champion Birchleaf Stand Elite. In 2024, Auceanie gave birth to her first cria. Description

Crossing our superb white female, Miss Auceanie du DNA, with our 3x Supreme Champion herdsire, A Wanted Man’s Zephyr, seemed like an intriguing prospect, at least on paper. Both are known for their heavy-cutting fleeces which maintain a flashy, uniform crimp style across their entire frame, not to mention their many other complementary strengths. Nearly two decades of breeding alpacas has taught us that the resulting offspring from those theoretical pairings don’t always live up to the hype — but we certainly can’t contain our excitement when they do! When it comes to the young male this pairing produced, aptly named Noble Absolute du DNA, it was immediately clear that this combination was not just successful – it created something truly special! He is one of the few young males that we have chosen to retain, as we wait to see if he continues to progress as he should… if (and only if) he does, he will earn a place in our herdsire row come Summer 2026. Big plans for such a young male, we know... So far, he reflects exactly what we want to see in a future herdsire at this point in his development. The quantity of fleece Absolute carries is quite impressive. He is expected to have the heaviest cutting fleece from our 2024 birthing class, if not the heaviest cutting cria fleece in our farm’s history. The way he holds his crimp structure with barely any variations from shoulder to hip, topline to belly, and all the way down to his knees and up to his neck is simply amazing! This consistency is also expressed in a low SD of 3.3. Conformationally, Absolute is a carbon copy to his maternal grandsire, Averegan’s Magnus. He carries himself on a very strong and large frame, with a pleasing headstyle and correct proportions. His lineage is packed with powerhouse genetics! While the presence of Xanadu P Resolute (Maple Brook Barnabus) and Jeremiah’s Peruvian Jumanji (Majestic Peruvian Jeremiah) is notable, it is worth mentioning that the rest of his pedigree isn’t as common in the North American herd… Absolute might just be the next young herdsire that our breeding program is waiting on!
