SNOWMASS ROYAL CONOPA Royal Conopa has inherited some phenomenal genetics! She is the daughter of Snowmass Conopa XXX, who took a first place in the AOBA World Fleece Show and is on his way to Canada after being sold at the most recent Snowmass auction. Her maternal grandsire is the 2004 Futurity Fawn Male Color Champion Snowmass Royal Challenger, one of the finest standing Royal Rose sons in the US. He has proven to produce an extraordinary consistency of fineness and color and overall extensive fine wool coverage from head to toe on his progeny, producing the next generation of elite colored Huacaya alpacas. Snowmass Royal Challenger is the son of Snowmass Royal Rose, one of the top Studs from the North American Alpaca Stud Group. Royal Challenger hails from a long line of “greats” including Hemingway and Bueno. Challenger’s dam, PPPeruvian Edelweis is a grand dam in her own right- a long time producer of champions. Royal Challenger consistently passes on his superior phenotype and fleece attributes to his offspring - superb conformation, awesome coverage, fineness, high-frequency style crimp, long staple length and beautiful brightness.
