November 20th, 2024: It's with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ocean Breeze. Ocean Breeze was a great foundation female that produced wonderful offsprings for us. Ocean Breezes is another very striking maiden produced by Polaris. She displays a proud stature, pretty head, and is balanced nicely on a strong boned frame. Her fleece displays exceptional brightness, very good density, well aligned high frequency crimped bundles, soft silky hand, and uniformity with very good fineness throughout her blanket and down into her extremities. Her outstanding staple length is understandable as we crossed Polaris with HA Ottavia, a PCA Santorini and Legacy’s Golden Boy crossed female. Santorini had extreme staple length and density and Golden Boy displayed a long stapled bright silky fleece that stayed at 21 -22 micron his entire life, as did his dam 4Peruvian Latora. This genetic cross was a no brainer and turned out exactly as we felt it would.
