In a new partnership with Tom Blanford of Clayfarm Alpacas, I am pleased to announce the acquisition of Snowmass Arch Angel XX. Lynn Edens has been watching this male develop since she acquired Snowmass Alpacas. He exhibits strong genetics for staple length as well as consistency. His fleece is bright and exhibits micro-bundling as well as a high frequency, low amplitude crimp structure. Upon evaluation prior to shearing, his two daughters were tagged as "retain for foundation" for the Snowmass herd. We have many of his crias on the farm for evaluation and some for sale. If your herd need staple length and fineness, this is the guy! Arch Angel has a very interesting fleece profile as demonstrated through his EPDs and histograms. He has all eight EPD catagories under 7%. The most interesting part is that his fleece weight and micron both are under 5% while his staple length EPD is under 7% which is an exceedingly rare combination.
