Marathon's crias are now on the ground, and they are gorgeous! He has 15 crias so far, and all are awesome, and as of November, 2009, Irish Meadows has a new half sister of Golden Girl, and she is jet black, and sired by Marathon! Marathon has thrown a solid, spot free, jet black female cria! EIGHT TIME CHAMPION, as of April, 2008. All in Halter, Full Fleece. FULL ACCOYO MEDIUM FAWN! Marathon is one of a kind - this full Accoyo medium fawn male has "a next generation elite fleece," perfect head, bite and conformation. His fleece has a very high-amplitude crimp, is extremely bright, and well-bundled, with a long-staple length. Genetically, he is a fusion of Accoyo sires Caligula, Camilio and Auzengate (Australia). He has placed as Reserve or Color Champion in the first 8 out of 10 shows in his career, with 4 of the banners earned as a juvenile, all with blue ribbon wins. He placed as Reserve Color Champion at the OABA Alpacafest, Nov. 2007 with a shear date of July, 2007, competing in full fleece. We think this is a record for number of championships for a full Accoyo fawn male! This fantastic male has fleece of the future and will bring your breeding program to new levels. This full Accoyo medium fawn male tore up the show ring during his career. His progeny is doing the same. Check out Sister Golden Hair and Cadence from our site. Breedings with this stellar future herdsire will be extremely limited, and only 10 outside breedings are being offered his first year of production. Reserve yours today as they are going fast! Dam: Casanova's Shooting Star

Peruvian

Casanova's Shooting Star

HuacayaBred (Female)Dark Silver Grey
AOA# 1426731DOB: 10/1/200420 yrs
A Snomass Peruvian Casanova daughter purchased at the 2005 AOBA National Sale in Salt Lake City, Utah, Shooting Star has developed into an attractive dark grey female--with no dark spots. Her uniform fleece shows good crimp, density and uniformity. Shooting Star gave us an outstanding grey male "Galaxie", from her mating to KPR Silver Legend. This July 13th cria exhibits ultra-fineness and density with a consistent dark silver grey color. He will be shown in spring, 2008. He took the blue at Spring Bling 2008. Galaxy continued in his winning ways, taking first or second in all of the spring, 2008 shows. He placed second in the yearling grey class at the 2008 Northern Illinois Extravaganza. His fiber continues to amaze us with its crimp character, fineness, and color! Shooting Star's beautiful female cria, Dior, from Aramani is a silver grey who will be shown in the fall of 2009. She has a great look and presence and wonderful fine crimpy fleece.

Description

Dutch is a beautiful rose grey female whose very look and stance says, "Here I am!" She was the very first alpaca to steal our hearts <3 She is very dense, very fine, and has a great crimp structure. Dutch has a confident presence, lovely disposition, and has "it-girl" charm. She is the queen bee of our females - always the first to step ahead of the herd and lovingly warn others with an off-key, cringy noise if danger is present. Dutch had a fancy show career in her prime that she gave up to be an amazing stay-at-home mama. Dutch's first cria born at Cedar & Sage was a light silver grey female named September Sky born in September 2022. Sky inherited many of the award-winning characteristics of her mother paired with her multi-champion father, Avalon's Jacob Black. Sky is performing very well in the show ring! Dutch did not disappoint with her second cria born in September 2023. We welcomed Vik - a combination of Dutch and Estate's Pure Reflection. Vik is continuously complimented for his crimp structure, fineness of fleece, and overall confirmation in the showring and walking fleece. Dutch continues to be one of the strongest foundation females at Cedar & Sage. She is currently bred with our handsome Jacob Black boy Cedar of Cedar & Sage and will be due in September 2025!
